Best Books of 2025

Happy final day of 2025 :D It's almost a new year again. This past year have not been easy. And I read way too little. Only managed a total of 20 books, which is an all time low for me. Only five new books to add to my best of list this year, the other four are re-reads. Ack. But I'm going to read more next year for sure. Fingers crossed. It has just been pretty hard this year. Missing grandpa very much. I removed my tonsils this spring, which was exhausting as well. The new medicine I started last year did not help much at all. So now I have started another new one. And so far it is not helping either. Sigh. Been sick a lot this year. So very exhausted. But I am doing my best. I did read some incredible books, even so. And I really hope that I will feel like reading more this coming year. I still love reading the very most. It is just so hard to start. Oops. This have been a good year too, though. So in love with the new Nintendo Switch 2. But I'm not playing as much as I should either. How rude. Time is just going by way too fast. I shall be better at getting things done next year. Fingers crossed, please :) What were your best books of this year? <3

Best Books of 2024

Another year gone by. This year have not been the best. But I'm doing the best I can. I managed to read 30 books this year too, which I'm so happy about :) Hoping to read more next year. But I did read a whole bunch of awesome books, which makes me happy. My health hasn't been the best, and I'm trying a new medicine which is still not working right. Sigh. Fingers crossed for me, please. This year my grandpa got a new kidney. We were all so happy. But it ruined his body and he died this fall. And it has mostly ruined all of us. We are a small family, all living close by. This was my first loss and it is so hard. And so I have not read much since then. Hoping to get lost in books again soon. I just feel so bad for my grandma, but at least we are here for her. But yes. It's so hard. Miss him so much. Trying my best to stay positive. And hoping this new year will be better. Hoping to read more too. What were your best books of this year? :)

Best Books of 2023

Another year gone by :) This was a better reading year for me. Which I am very happy about. I ended up reading 30 books this year. Which is very good for me, ha. It is ten more than last year. I am hoping I will manage to read even more next year. Fingers crossed. I did a few re-reads. And read even more five star books. But also a whole lot of two stars. Oops. But no one star rating this year, which I'm pleased about. I have had a pretty good year. My health sucks, always. But I'm doing good despite this. This year I turned thirty. My cat turned ten. We are both doing great. I do not have much more to update about this year, just that everything is still the same, haha. And I'm so very, very happy about the books on my best of list this year. Ended up with nine favorite ones. Sort of in the correct order of which one that I loved the most. But I honestly just loved them all very much. A great reading year. What were your best books of this year? :)

Best Books of 2022

Happy final day of 2022 :D Another year gone by. I feel like this year went by way too fast. I had planned on reading much more, but that did not happen. Simply felt like I did not have the time. But also not the energy, as my health still sucks, always. Rude. But I have still managed to read 20 books this year, same as last year. And so I'm going to be happy about this :) As it is better than nothing. A few re-reads and a couple of short stories. And new books. Most of them that I loved, which is great. This year I am sharing about six books, all five stars. All loved. I'm hoping to be able to read more next year. I got so many new books to read, ha. Crossing my fingers that I will feel more up to it. Plus side, I still love reading the very most. I still get lost in the books that I love. And so I know I will not stop reading. I just need to be better at finding the time for it. Other things I have done this year: spent so much time with my family. <3 Also still playing Animal Crossing New Horizons every day :) Now also Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. Oops. And Pokemon Go, of course. And trying to play many others games, when I have time for it. So the days are going by fast. But I have had a good year, despite not reading that much. And so I am happy about this year :) Hope to read a little more next year. Fingers crossed. What were your best books of this year? :)

For this year have not been easy. I have not had any energy or will to read much. So reading a little was good enough. And I am crossing everything that I will be able to read a whole lot more next year. Plus side, I truly liked most of the books that I read. So that's very good. And I still love reading the most. I just do not feel like reading. Ugh. But once I do start, I love it. So rude. Next year will hopefully be better. I have had a good year despite this, though. I didn't read as much this year as I wanted to. Only 45 books. But that is good enough too. I'm glad I was able to read at all. Was worried I wouldn't have enough books for this list. But I did, just barely. I re-read a lot of perfect books this year. A few of new perfect ones. A few bad books too. I really hope next year will be better. I have read a whole lot of aaamazing books this year. So many books that I loved. And in this post I'm sharing about my top 12 books. I have loved more, but these are my favorites of the books I have read this year. Sort of in the right correction. But also cannot choose between these. But also, to be honest, my memory is not quite right lately. And so I cannot make myself choose which books I loved most. Gosh. But I loved all of these so so very much and I do remember all the love I had for each of them. So yes. Sort of correct order of the books I loved the most. If you have not read these books yet, get moving. They were all so so very good. This year I ended up reading a total of eighty books. Which is not a bunch, but it was the most I could do, with my health being the worst this whole year. A few of these books were short stories, some only ten pages long, haha, so I'm not sure how much they count. But right now they count for me, as they made me reach my goal this year, lol. Only fourteen re-reads this past year. More next year for sure, ha. Twenty five five stars reads, twenty four four star reads. And with many being bad reads too, haha. But I did read so many good ones this year, and loved them all. Sigh. Hoping to read more next year. Crossing my fingers. I have so many books I did not get to this year, and I'm so very excited to read them all. One book missing from this list is Two Dark Reigns. It is only missing because I did not have two other books to add with it, haha. But yeah. I loved that one too. So very much. Happy reading to every one of you :D

Best Re-Reads of 2017

I could not resist doing a best re-reads post this year. Because I re-read more five star books this year then I read new ones. Ack. I'm going to have read 100 books this year, which I am super excited about, and 29 of those have been re-reads. Oh. I simply couldn't resist re-reading all of these lovely books. A lot of them so that I could read the next books in the series. And others just because I loved them so. Always going to be re-reading a lot of stunning books. Though I hope I will read a lot of amazing new books next year too. Fingers crossed. My Best Books of 2017 post will be up in one week. Ended up sharing the best 21 re-reads that I did this year. They are not in the right order, with how much I love them, as I love them all so so so much. And I loved re-reading these books so much. They are all so awesome. I have re-read more books that I love too, but not including them all. If you have still not read these yet, then get moving.
