Happy Holidays everyone! I
cannot believe that 2013 is already over. This year has gone so so fast. In the
beginning of the year I got to read so much, but then I had many months where I
almost didn't read anything at all. I got a new apartment above my mom, which I
love, and I got a kitten in April. She's still killing me. But she's beyond
adorable as well. I had a very stressful year with my three diseases, but I
think I might be starting getting better. I hope. Anyway. I didn't get to read
as much as I wanted to. But I still read 118 books this year. And that is a lot
of stories up in my head. Today I'm sharing a list of the books that I read and
re-read; just in case you were curious :) Not adding the date of which I read
the books, but I guess you can see that if you click on my review link. Just
adding the books I read in the 12 months. You can also check out my Goodreads, if you are curious about the books
I'm going to read :)
Also wanted to share a bit
about my blogging this year as well. I wrote 313 blog posts and I'm pretty
happy about that. I passed 188,000 blog views, which makes me beyond happy.
<3 And I have passed 6000 blog comments as well. You guys are the best! Thank you
so so much. I have enjoyed this year a lot, despite not feeling the best. I have gotten to read a lot of amazing books. I have gotten to talk to a lot of amazing people online; people, authors, publishers. You are all amazing. Just wanted to thank you all for making 2013 such an amazing year :) Can't wait to start 2014 tomorrow. Excited for everything :)

She tensed. Wolf's voice was rough and desperate. She dared to meet his eyes.
His brow was damp with sweat, his pupils dilated.

She stared back at her own reflection as the doors slipped shut behind her.
Her heart started to pound. Thankfully no one else was in the elevator to witness her,
because she lost her hold on the glamour immediately, gaping into her own brown eyes and,
for the first time, felt horrified of who she saw in that reflection.

Waiting on Wednesday #115
"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
LET THE STORM BREAK (Sky Fall #2) BY SHANNON MESSENGER
Goodreads Description:
Whirlwind romance and breathtaking action continues in the sequel to Let the Sky Fall, which Becca Fitzpatrick called “charged and romantic.”
Vane Weston is haunted. By the searing pull of his bond to Audra. By the lies he’s told to cover for her disappearance. By the treacherous winds that slip into his mind, trying to trap him in his worst nightmares. And as his enemies grow stronger, Vane doesn’t know how much longer he can last on his own.
But Audra’s still running. From her past. From the Gales. Even from Vane, who she doesn’t believe she deserves. And the farther she flees, the more danger she finds. She possesses the secret power her enemy craves, and protecting it might be more than she can handle—especially when she discovers Raiden’s newest weapon.
With the Gale Force weakened by recent attacks, and the power of four collapsing, Vane and Audra are forced to make a choice: keep trusting the failing winds, or turn to the people who’ve betrayed them before. But even if they survive the storms sent to destroy them, will they have anything left to hold on to?
I WILL read my eARC of this one soon. I will I will I will. Because I am dying to read it. I truly am. Just taking me forever to get myself to read it. I suck. But anyway. I cannot wait to finally start it. <3 And I'm so excited. Can't wait to read more of Vane and Audra; as I adore them both a whole lot. :)
What are you waiting for?

"That's enough, Sybil." Sybil froze and glanced at her queen. Her long, pale fingers were interlaced
over her skirt, but Sybil guessed that beneath the veil, her eyes would be sharp as needles.

Best Books of 2013
Last year I shared the top 24 books that I read in 2012. Going to do the same this year; though my absolute favorites will be at the top :) But I loved all of these books. Will also be doing a post with the books that I read in 2013 later. Anyway. I read some pretty amazing books this year. Did not love all of them, but I still read a whole bunch of amazing books :D Not including them all, because that would be a way too long list. 24 might be a bit many, but I like that number. So top 24 books it is :) Also. These are the books that I read for the first time this year. I re-read a few of my all-time-favorites. <3 And I have been a bit behind on reading this year.. but I'm hoping to be able to read much more in 2014. Hopefully starting that in January. Because I love reading so much, just need more time. Which books do you have on your list? And have you read any of the books that are my favorites? <3
