Cover Reveal: Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman

Oh, how I am DYING to read this book! I have waited forever already. Hmph. And now I shall have to wait until October 20th. I don't do waiting well. So if anyone have an ARC of this to spare, do let me know :D I am totally dying to read Illuminae. <3 This book shall be epic. I know it will be. So many have loved it already. Sniffs. I just wish I was one of those people :) I want to read this book so badly. Waiting for this long already has been torture. Hmph. But I also know that I will love this book, no matter when I get to read it. But I wants it nooooow. Sigh. <3 Anyway! This cover. This very precious cover reveal. Oh, it is different. And oh it is perfect :D I think it looks stunning. More details about it + interview over at Cuddlebuggery. <3 This cover will be gorgeous in person. I cannot wait to see it :D Also, I adore Jay so damn much. He is amazing. And his books have been perfection so far. I also really like Amie too, have read three things by her so far, and they have been amazing too :D I cannot wait for this book of theirs together. Sigh. I am so excited :D This book sounds so damn amazing. What do you think of this cover?

This morning, Kady thought breaking up with Ezra was the hardest thing she’d have to do.

This afternoon, her planet was invaded.

The year is 2575, and two rival megacorporations are at war over a planet that’s little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra—who are barely even talking to each other—are forced to fight their way onto an evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.

But their problems are just getting started. A deadly plague has broken out and is mutating, with terrifying results; the fleet's AI, which should be protecting them, may actually be their enemy; and nobody in charge will say what’s really going on. As Kady hacks into a tangled web of data to find the truth, it's clear only one person can help her bring it all to light: the ex-boyfriend she swore she'd never speak to again.

Told through a fascinating dossier of hacked documents—including emails, schematics, military files, IMs, medical reports, interviews, and more—Illuminae is the first book in a heart-stopping, high-octane trilogy about lives interrupted, the price of truth, and the courage of everyday heroes.
