Waiting on Wednesday #58

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

THE RISING BY KELLEY ARMSTRONG

Goodreads Description:

Things are getting desperate for Maya and her friends. Hunted by the powerful St. Cloud Cabal and now the Nast Cabal as well, they’re quickly running out of places to hide. And with the whole world thinking they died in a helicopter crash, it’s not like they can just go to the authorities for help.

All they have is the name and number of someone who might be able to give them a few answers. Answers to why they’re so valuable, and why their supernatural powers are getting more and more out of control. Maya is unprepared for the truths that await her, but she’ll have to face them if she ever hopes to move on with her life. Because Maya can’t keep running forever.

With all the twists, thrills, and romance that have made Kelley Armstrong an international bestseller, plus the surprising return of some fan-favorite characters, The Rising will hold you under its spell long after the breathtaking end.

Pre-Order here.

I blogged about this cover reveal back in June. I adore the covers of this series. They are all so gorgeous and special. I LOVED the first two book; The Gathering and The Calling. Dying to read The Rising. I need to know how it will all end. I need to know if Maya and Rafe will be together. I must know. <3 I also need to know more about the really exciting story :) I need this book. <3 Not sure I will survive until April. Does anyone have an ARC they want to share with me? :D
What are you waiting for?

  3. great pick! Although I have to admit I haven't read this series yet. I've wanted to start it when The Gathering came out but I'm ashamed to say I've always forgotten or didn't have the time!

  5. I haven't been able to get in to this series. I wasn't a fan of Kelley's other YA series, Darkest Powers, but I loved Women of the Otherworld!
