Rainbow Rowell continues to break boundaries with Carry On, an epic fantasy following the triumphs and heartaches of Simon and Baz from her beloved bestseller Fangirl.
Simon Snow just wants to relax and savor his last year at the Watford School of Magicks, but no one will let him. His girlfriend broke up with him, his best friend is a pest, and his mentor keeps trying to hide him away in the mountains where maybe he’ll be safe. Simon can’t even enjoy the fact that his roommate and longtime nemesis is missing, because he can’t stop worrying about the evil git. Plus there are ghosts. And vampires. And actual evil things trying to shut Simon down. When you’re the most powerful magician the world has ever known, you never get to relax and savor anything.
Carry On is a ghost story, a love story, a mystery and a melodrama. It has just as much kissing and talking as you’d expect from a Rainbow Rowell story — but far, far more monsters.

Is it October yet? Because damn. I'm dying to read this book. I adore Rainbow. She's all kinds of adorable :D And her books are amazing. My favorite is Eleanor & Park. <3 Though I also really loved Fangirl. Which is why I am dying to read Carry On :D I adored the small parts about Simon Snow in Fangirl! And now a whole book about him, for real? Dies. And boy-boy shipping? Yes please. Oh. This book is going to be all kinds of amazing. I simply cannot wait to read and love it. I'm so excited :D It looks gorgeous too.
What are you waiting for on this magical Wednesday?
Eeek, I haven't read any books by this author yet! This looks really amazing, maybe I should read Fangirl soon!ReplyDelete

Waiting on Wednesday
I also liked the fanfiction parts in Fangirl (most of the time) and hooooope this will be a good read! I don't really like the cover - although, maybe if I stare at it long enough I'll love it? Hmmmm, let's try it out! . . . . . Okay, I do like it a bit more now. :DReplyDelete
Definitely a great pick! Can't wait to find out more about Simon & Baz!

I'm totally dying for this book too but I wish the cover would have been more like the Fangirl one, you know?? But YES, I NEED THIS BOOK!!!ReplyDelete
new to me but great pick, hope you get a chance to read it soon.ReplyDelete
Ahhh. That's the cover? Hmmm. I liked the mock cover better. I liked Fangirl but I doubt I'll be reading this one - it doesn't appeal to me as much as Fangirl did! I hope you enjoy this book when you read it!ReplyDelete
Have a fabulous week, Carina :)
Check out my WoW post!
I mean, I kind of hate the cover for this, but am SO EXCITED FOR THIS BOOK. Draco/Harry fanfiction with the names scratched off! I also just really want to know what it's going to be like to have ... basically novel-length fanfic. Ugh, I am excited as hell.ReplyDelete
I've haven't read a Rainbow Rowell book yet. I have Fangirl sitting there with an accusing look.ReplyDelete
My WoW at Whatever You Can Still Betray.
I've only read ATTACHMENTS & FANGIRL (which I absolutely loved to pieces) but I know Rainbow is an extremely talented author. I JUST LOVE HER WORDS. And I can't wait for CARRY ON either. UGH. I WANT MORE BAZ AND SIMON.ReplyDelete
Oh yes, I am really looking forward to this book too. It was such a great idea to write it.ReplyDelete
Great pick! Loving the cover too. :)
I love Rainbow and I loved Fangirl, though I didn't love the Simon part as much as Levi and Cath. HOWEVER, I'm excited to read the full novel! Great pickReplyDelete
