Waiting on Wednesday #70

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

MISTWALKER BY SAUNDRA MITCHELL

Goodreads Description:

When Willa Dixon’s brother dies on the family lobster boat, her father forbids Willa from stepping foot on the deck again. With her family suffering, she’ll do anything to help out—even visiting the Grey Man.

Everyone in her small Maine town knows of this legendary spirit who haunts the lighthouse, controlling the fog and the fate of any vessel within his reach. But what Willa finds in the lighthouse isn’t a spirit at all, but a young man trapped inside until he collects one thousand souls.

Desperate to escape his cursed existence, Grey tries to seduce Willa to take his place. With her life on land in shambles, will she sacrifice herself?

Can't believe I have to wait a whole year for this book. But omg. I cannot wait! Mistwalker seems AMAZING. I just love the summary. I think this book will be perfect. Truly. Just hoping for maybe a bit romance too? Hih. Anyway. I adore Saundra. Have read three of her other books, and I loved them. The Elementals ended a bit bad, but I'm hoping this new book won't end the same. Hih. But oh. I just cannot wait to read it! It looks so amazing. Wants it right away. I also love Saundra's writing :)
What are you waiting for?

  4. This sounds like a YA version of something Stephen King would write! I'm totally intrigued.
