Cover Reveal: Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano

I'm dying to read this book. Simply dying to. Been waiting so long for it and I just wish it was October already. Perfect Ruin is the first book in The Internment Chronicles by Lauren DeStefano. And oh. I think it will be a perfect book. Lauren has shared so many amazing teasers, and I cannot wait to get to know all the characters and the amazing sounding world. <3 I just need this book. Anyway. I'm sharing the cover for it today :) I'm a bit unsure how I feel about it. I love it; of course I do. I love the details on it. I'm just a tiny bit unsure about the girl. But I'm hoping it will look even prettier in person. <3 Anyway. I think the cover is pretty amazing, even so :) And I just adore Lauren so much and I need to read this book right away. I need to get to know Judas ;p Hih. And Morgan. What do you think of the cover?

On Internment, the floating island in the clouds where 16-year-old Morgan Stockhour lives, getting too close to the edge can lead to madness. Even though Morgan's older brother, Lex, was a Jumper, Morgan vows never to end up like him. She tries her best not to mind that her life is orderly and boring, and if she ever wonders about the ground, and why it is forbidden, she takes solace in best friend Pen and her betrothed, Basil.

Then a murder, the first in a generation, rocks the city. With whispers swirling and fear on the wind, Morgan can no longer stop herself from investigating, especially when she meets Judas. He is the boy being blamed for the murder — betrothed to the victim — but Morgan is convinced of his innocence. Secrets lay at the heart of Internment, but nothing can prepare Morgan for what she will find — or who she will lose.

  1. I'm a bit torn about this cover. I LOVE the details on the edge, but I don't think I really like the title this way.

  4. I love the font on "Ruin" but not so much on "Perfect"-I'm still interested in checking out her newest as the blurb sounds promising.
