Rebel Spring is the sequel to Falling Kingdoms. Which I loved with all my heart. It was such a perfect book. I'm DYING to read this sequel. Like really dying for it. Falling Kingdoms was just amazing, but omg, it ended pretty badly. And I need to know what happens next with everyone! <3 Anyway. I'm sharing the cover today with you all :D And I am in love with it. I think it's really beautiful and amazing. Just sigh. I cannot wait for this perfect book :) But oh. December 3rd?! Forever to wait! Want it now :)

Cannot wait to read this book! I did love the first one. It was really interesting :) One thing I didn't like, though, was the love triangle.. didn't understand Will at all. But I loved Elliott. So I'm hoping for him in this second and last book :D I cannot wait to read it. For the romance, for Araby, and the amazing plot. Because I very much loved the world this book series is set in. Can't wait to read more of that :)

Today I'm sharing the cover of The Unbound by Victoria Schwab with you all :D It is the sequel to The Archived, a book that I really loved. I cannot wait to read this amazing sequel. Wish it was January already! I'm super excited to read more about Mac and Wesley :) Sigh. Hoping for a bit more romance too, hih (A) But also so excited for the plot. And oh. This cover is GORGEOUS! Cover Reveal: The Trap by Andrew Fukuda

This is a creepy series. And it is amazing! I loved The Hunt and The Prey, and I'm DYING to read The Trap! <3 I cannot wait to read what happens next, especially with that cliffhanger in book two. This is an amazing series, and I love it. And oh. These covers are gorgeous. Especially this third one. Think it's the most amazing one :) There isn't a summary for the book yet, but there is a release date. It is coming out on November 5th 2013 :) I cannot wait. Seems like forever until then, but I'm just so excited, still :) Think it will be the best book of the three. What do you think of the cover?

In My Mailbox #69

I might have gotten tons of things this week too. Agh. I need to stop spending all my money! lol :) I will soon, though, since they start building to me in less than two weeks. And in less than 8 weeks I'm getting my beautiful baby girl cat :D I cannot wait for that. <3 Sigh. (Won't be any money left for books and other things then.. Oh, well.) But anyway. I did get lots of awesome things this book. Lots of great books :D And I read a whole lot too. Lots of new reviews posted :) I also got my last ever package from Disney Store US. They managed to fuck it up like usual, so have to email them later when I get my taxes bill that I wasn't supposed to get at all :\ Yeah. They better fix it. Ugh. But anyway. I loved what I got :) Update: I totally forgot to mention my crappy form. On Monday it's been THREE weeks since they cut open my abscess, and I still have to go change bandage every damn day :( I'm so sick of it, because the bandage is itching every moment, and it sort of hurts to change it.. I just want to be done with it all. And hopefully I will be early next week :) I hope. Sigh. Anyway. It hurts less, but it still hurts :\

Ahh. Some Disney Store things. <3 Love. The 8 Wreck-It Ralph smelly plushes that I was missing :D I have to from before. <3 Now I have them all. They smell so good, and they are all so so pretty. And I was missing four of the amazing racer cars. Now I have them all :D They are gorgeous. Plus two other different racers that I bought here in Norway. <3 I love them. And two Ralph figures from Norway too :D

Peter Pan figures. Aren't they gorgeous? I love them. Where's My Water ball. Ahh! He is gorgeous! I love it :D So pretty and amazing. Angry Birds plush. Oh, he is perfect. I love him so so much :) So fluffy.

Monsters Inc Figures. These are just gorgeous. I love this movie a whole lot. It is perfect.

Boo doll. SHE IS PERFECT! So so pretty, and I love the sounds she makes. She is adorable. I love her.

I got some amazing eARCs this week too. <3 Sigh. I got accepted for The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa via Australia on NetGalley :D Read it right away, and I loved it. <3 Also got accepted for Doll Bones by Holly Black; which I also read right away :) And I got accepted for Mortal Fire and Love in the Time of Global Warming. Both books sounds awesome. Hoping to read them soon :D I'm confused about The Flame in the Mist. Last night it said Declined. Today it says Accepted. But when I click the link I don't see any download button :\ but hoping it will show up, since I really want to read this book :)

Review: Wild Awake by Hilary T. Smith

I don't know how I feel about this book. I'm still unsure why I read it. I had seen a lot of people excited for it, so I requested it via Edelweiss, and I got accepted. Then today I looked at the summary again, and I thought that it sounded a bit fun and sweet, so I started reading it. And it was. But yeah. It was a weird book, and I'm not sure I liked it at all. I do want a sequel. And I loved some things. But it also wasn't what I had thought.

The main character in this book is Kiri. And that book is told from her point of view. I sort of liked her as a character. She seemed pretty awesome. But yeah. I didn't like the way she thought things. She seemed a bit weird at times. I didn't understand her feelings for Lukas. But yeah. I did think she was pretty cute and nice. But she also changes a lot in this book. Goes kind of crazy. And I'm not sure how I felt about that at all.

I think one of the main reasons for why I didn't love this book was the writing. I feel a bit sucky saying it, but yeah, I just didn't like the writing. I didn't like the way Kiri was thinking and such. It just wasn't for me. But despite that I did find the book kind of interesting. And while I sometimes considered quitting it, I never did because I wanted to know what happened next. In the end this is a three star book for me. Maybe a three point five. But only at certain times in the book.

I don't know how to explain this book. And I'm pretty sure my review won't be long this time. But yeah. That's just the way it is :) I did love reading about Kiri. She lives with her parents, her brother is at college. She's awesome at music. Her older sister died five years ago. Then something happens that make Kiri see what really happened when her sister died all those years ago. Thing is, I thought it would be a murder-story-book. But it isn't. And that disappointed me. I wanted it to focus on that more.

Anyway. There are a lot of things happening in this book. I'm not sure how to describe it all, so I'll just mention a few things. Kiri is very good at playing music and singing. And I did love that. But then she goes a bit crazy later on. Sigh. But before that she's sort of in a band with her best friend Lukas. Who she totally have a crush on. I disliked that a bit. The way she was thinking around him; it was weird. But anyway. I just didn't like Lukas. He seemed very selfish and mean, to be honest. Not a nice person.

Things go bad for Kiri when she gets a phone call from someone who claims to have some of her dead sister's things. She goes downtown to get them. Things go a lot worse from there. But also better. She meets Skunk. Who I adored. But I wished we had gotten to know him even more. But I did love what we did know about him. He's kind of huge. But so sweet and kind. He has a Thing. And it was a bit heartbreaking and I hated it but also loved it, because I loved Skunk and he was an amazing character.

Another one I loved was the old guy calling Kiri, Doug. He was sweet. Well. Okay. Not really. He was a drunk and kind of bad. But I did adore him a bit. I loved his three legged cat. We get to read about him a lot. And so much about Skunk. Skunk and Kiri has a great romance, and I loved that, but yeah. I wish it hadn't been so damn crazy. I wanted this to be a sweet book with maybe a bit horror or mystery. But it wasn't. It was crazy, full of drugs and other crazy things. I sort of liked it, but I didn't like it enough.

I don't want to spoil anything else, and I don't really have much else to say about this book. I hated the drug use. How crazy Kiri ended up getting. I didn't like it at all. Sigh. But I did like the ending to this book, and I do want a sequel, because I want more of Skunk. Anyway. Wild Awake was an interesting book. I did enjoy reading it at times. But it wasn't perfect. At least not for me. Others might like it, but I just didn't. I had too many faults with it. But yeah. Skunk was a bright point for me. I loved him a lot.

Review: Reboot by Amy Tintera

This book was amazing. Been wanting it for a while, even though when I first saw it I didn't think it would be a book for me. But then I read the summary a second time, and I knew I needed to read it. Today I finally did. And oh. Reboot is an amazing book. Truly perfect. Cannot wait for the sequel. When I read the first few pages I wasn't sure if I would like it, if I liked the writing. But after those first few pages I was hooked :)

And I ended up loving the writing. The writing in this book is awesome. But oh. The plot in Reboot is amazing. Truly unique and perfect. I loved it a whole lot, and I never wanted this book to end. I found the characters to be amazing to read about as well. They were all done well. There is a lot of death in this book as well. A bit disturbing, but I loved it. Because it made sense.

I'm not sure how to describe this book. But I'll give it a go. You should start by reading the summary, though, because yeah, that one is pretty amazing and shares lots of info about the book, which I loved. There is so much happening in this book. So many awful heartbreaking things. But also a whole lot of sweet and sort of funny moments. I loved the sweet moments the most. But the awful things are amazing to read about too. Reboot have it all.

The plot centers around Reboots. Teenagers and children who have died and then risen again as a Reboot. When they rise again they are different. Stronger, better, faster. Wren is the main character, and she took forever to wake up. 178 minutes. So she's pretty amazing. It isn't that good to be under sixty, though. Bad things happen to them, plus they feel so much more than all the others. That was a bit sad and heartbreaking, but I also loved it, because it was so amazing and well done. Perfect.

This story is unique. And amazing. The Reboots are all being taken by the HARC to live in this closed up place, almost like a prison, although it felt more like a school. But they aren't allowed to leave. Or visit their families or something like that. When they die and Reboot they belong to the HARC. What they do for them is both awful and fascinating. Since they are kind of super humans they are used to pick up other people, murderers, sick people, etc. And kill a whole bunch of people. That happened a lot.

I just loved reading about the Reboots. I can't explain them more than that. Just that I loved reading about them. The training they did. I loved the world this was set in too. It's Dystopian, and amazing as well. There is so much to read about. The world is kind of destroyed. By this awful virus. And I loved it. This book is very unique, like nothing I have read before. And I loved that. There is an amazing romance as well, that I need more about in the second book. I cannot wait to read more about it all :)

The main character in this book is Wren, number 178. I loved reading about her. She's amazing. Well, okay, in the beginning she's very cold and unfeeling but I liked her then too. Since it took 178 minutes for her to Reboot after death she's a lot colder than other Reboots, and she feels less. They say so, at least. She's been at HARC for five years, since she was twelve. She's okay with being there, for the most part. But then Callum arrives, and it change her so much. For the better. I loved how much she changed.

One of the things I loved the most about Wren is how shy she is. Even though she appears to be so cold all the time. But she has feelings. And omg. I loved the way the showered, and they were even allowed to have sex. Wren didn't do that, though. Because she's afraid. People are afraid of her, but she's scared too. Because she has this big scar. It was awful. But perfect. She's just so broken and I adored her. But oh. Callum changes her so much. I loved their love story. It was amazing and so sweet. Also very real.

Callum is an amazing character. He's only a 22. So he's more human than the rest. With more feelings. So he's different. But oh. I loved that. He's just perfect. He's kind and loving and just all kinds of awesome. It isn't good to have the feelings he have there, though. It isn't good for his training. But he gets better. Sort of. I loved watching him and Wren train together. It was fun and sweet and painful at times too. But yeah. Callum and Wren is the perfect couple. I loved the romance between them so much.

We also get to know Wren's roommate, Ever. She was just amazing. A great friend to Wren, even though they didn't really start talking and hanging out until after Callum showed up. I didn't mind that, though. But oh. Something awful happens to her. The people of HARC are injecting something into her, and it's all kinds of awful. Won't say more than that. But it was so amazing to read about, and I loved it so much, because it was creepy as hell and so well written and unique and just all kinds of perfect.

Reboot is an amazing book. Full of action and mystery. It has an amazing romance. The most amazing world and characters. I loved this book. And I cannot wait to read the sequel. I want to read it right away, so hoping it will be out very soon, though I'm pretty sure I must wait until May 2014 :p Still. I will read and love it then. I'm so glad I read this book, and I know I will re-read it. You really need to read Reboot when it comes out, and if you have an ARC copy of it then you need to read it right away :)

Review: The Nightmare Affair by Mindee Arnett

I have waited a lot of months for this book. And the wait was so worth it. This book was everything I wanted it to be, and more. While I might have wished there had been a tiny bit more of Eli, I still loved everything in this book. I really did. The writing is perfect. Which I am so glad for. The story is amazing. And the characters are perfect. Sigh. I also adore the cover so much :) It's just so perfect. And purple! Gorgeous.

The Nightmare Affair is a Fantasy book. And I loved that. It's kind of a Fantasy book set in the real world. There is magic in this book. Lots of magic. A few werewolves, wizards, and all kinds of other creatures. Then there is Dusty, our main character. She is a Nightmare. And she's perfect. I loved everything about her. She's the most amazing main character.

Being a Nightmare means that she enters other people's dreams and kind of feeds on it. Hard to explain. But it was amazing to read about. She didn't always have magic, though. Her father was ordinary. But her mother was a Nightmare. So she's half. And just a few short months ago her magic appeared. So she's kind of clumsy with it. And yeah. It's all kinds of adorable. She can do spells and such. She goes to a magic school. Normally I don't enjoy schools, but this one was amazing. We got to learn a lot of interesting things. It was amazing.

This book starts with Dusty out one night to feed on a dream. She, well, breaks into his bedroom. Which was kind of awesome. And oh. The boy she's about to dream-feed on? He's totally hot. We get a description of his body and good looks while he's sleeping. And yeah. He's sounded so amazing. Dusty also know who he is. It's Eli, a boy from her former human school. But she must feed on him, because of The Will. Won't spoil what that means :D But yeah. She must feed on his dreams. And it's amazing.

Problem is, he's dreaming about a murder. And his dream is so clear. Not what she's used to, when entering other people's dreams. Eli is different. Something else amazing happens as well. Won't say what. But yeah. It was pretty amazing, and kind of funny ;) This is the scene that start the mystery in this book. That starts the story. And it was amazing. Because the dream Eli had came true when Dusty left him. She saw the murdered girl from her school. Which was all kinds of awful but also awesome.

It ends up with Eli starting at her school. Even though he has no magic like all the other students. But he's hot, and all kinds of amazing, so he had no trouble at all fitting in with the people. Kind of. We learn some really interesting things about him and Dusty. What they can do. How they might be able to find the killer. And stop him or her before it's too late. And it's so interesting and mysterious and amazing. I peeked at the ending before starting, which I should not have done, but I still loved it all.

I won't say more about the plot. Just that there is a lot of murders. Kind of awful ones. But so interesting to read about. And there is a lot of mystery. And many surprises. It was all written so well. The story is very interesting. I loved the magic in this book. I loved the murder mystery. And I loved the way Dusty fed on dreams. She has to sit on the stomach to the sleeping person she's feeding on. And touch his/her forehead. Yeah. It was kind of hot. And all kinds of amazing. I loved that part very much.

There is romance in this book. I was hoping it would be between Dusty and Eli. But it isn't. Not really. Well, yes, she is very attracted to him. And she likes him a lot. And I'm pretty sure he's very into her as well. And I wanted them together so much. But yeah. He starts dating this other girl at the school, and Dusty meets this boy called Paul. And oh. He does seem very sweet and nice and good looking. And I might have liked him a bit. But he wasn't Eli. Still, their romance was a tiny bit sweet :) Maybe.

Then the ending happens. And it was kind of surprising, but I was also very happy with it. If that makes any kind of sense. Anyway. There must be a sequel to this book. So many things that can still happen. And I just need more of Dusty and Eli. And romance between them ;) I also liked all the other characters in this book. Like Selene. I might even have liked Lance a tiny bit. I also liked Dusty's relationship with her mother. It was awful and sweet and very real. The characters are all just so amazing. This book is amazing. And I cannot wait to read it again and again. It was perfect. I'm so glad that I read it.

You really need to read The Nightmare Affair when it comes out. This book has it all. And it's just every kind of perfect. It is a must read. Also, Mindee is adorable :) I cannot wait to get my hardcover of this book in March. <3 It will be so pretty. Sigh. Oh. I'm hoping for a sequel so, so much. Review: The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa

This book is evil. Perfect, but evil. I have waited so long for it, and I'm so glad that I finally got to read it :) But oh. I doubt I'll survive the wait for the third book. More than a year from now, I suppose. I won't make it. Because while The Eternity Cure is perfect, it also ends so so bad. The ending is pure evil. I might have loved it a tiny bit. But oh. It is so much heartbreak and it's killing me. It is just too cruel and awful and so amazing. Sobs.

I loved The Immortal Rules so much. The Eternity Cure is just as good as the first book. More heartbreaking. I just love the writing a whole lot, and the plot is just very unique. It's about vampires, yes, but they are different. And oh. I loved reading about them. Allie is just amazing. And kind of adored Kanin and Jackal too. Kind of. But Zeke. Zeke I loved. More than anything.

I don't know how to write this review. I don't know how to tell you all how much I loved this book. How much I hurt because of the ending. Will try my best. Be aware that there might be a few spoilers for the first book, though :) The Eternity Cure starts where The Immortal Rules ended. Kind of. Four months have gone by since Allie left Eden alone to go hunting for Kanin and Sarren. I kind of disliked that so much time passed.. But what happened later kind of made up for that a lot. In the beginning of this book we get to see Allie traveling a lot, trying to find Kanin via the blood link that they share. I liked that a lot. Though the dreams Allie got were awful.

While Allie is looking for Kanin she ends up finding Jackal first, her blood brother. I still hate him. She does too. But he was kind of amazing too. Not a romantic interest. Thank god. There is not a love triangle in this book at all. Loved that. Anyway. The plot in this book is amazing. I loved it all. I loved reading about the new virus.. Even though it was so awful. We got to see it up close a few times. But it was amazing. I also loved reading about the Mole men. They were pretty awesome too. But evil as well.

Not going to say anything else about the plot. Just that a lot of things happen. A whole lot of things. Sad things. A few happy moments that I loved. But mostly heartbreaking things. And I loved them all. But yes. The Eternity Cure is a sad book. Missed Zeke for the first one hundred pages, but I still loved those pages. Because I do adore Allie as a main character. She's amazing. Strong, kind and loving. Protective too. Disapproved of a few things that she did, but I understood her, and I still loved her so much.

We get to know a bit more Kanin in this book. And I loved that. He is kind of an awful person, he has done so many bad things. But I'm not sure if I hate him for it. Because he is trying to make it better, and I kind of adored him. And Allie does too. He's like her father. Kind of. So yeah. I did like reading about him. I'm still unsure about Jackal. He has done so many bad things. How he killed Zeke's family. But he's also kind of nice in this book. For a little while, at least. Guess I'll see in the next book :)

My favorite character in this book was Zeke. He is just perfect. Loved him in the first book, even more in this one. He's just so good. And kind and just all kinds of awesome. He's a bit angry when we first see him, but I don't blame him for that. Jackal did kill a whole lot of his family, like his father, Jeb. So Zeke does have a bit of hate towards Jackal. Do not blame him at all. So he is a bit angry at Allie too, when she shows up with him. Ugh. But yeah. That changes fast. Because oh. He loves Allie so much. Sniffs.

The romance in this book is amazing. It's more than it was in the first book. I think. There is more kissing, at least ;) And I loved that. There is a little doubt and hurt at first, but it is so perfect after that. Allie and Zeke are just perfect together. And I need them to be together forever.. Sniffs. They haven't had nearly enough time together. Or happy times. I need some happy times. But oh. The love between them is so amazing. It's just real. And Zeke would do anything for her. He is just perfect. Love.

We also get to see another character again in this book.. Stick. And oh my god. How I hated him. My hate grew for every scene that he was in. Even the scene near the end wasn't awful enough. I very much wanted Stick to die an awful death. Hopefully by Jackal's hands. But yeah. I did like how it ended. Kind of. Maybe. Unsure if it really was the end. Then there is Prince Salazar. He was kind of awful and cruel too. At least to some people. I didn't like him much, but didn't really hate him either. Think that's good.

The villain in this book is Sarren. I found him to be awful in the first book. He's worse in this one. Really, really worse. My god. How he could be that way I have no idea.. Shudders. He did so many awful things. And omg. What he did at the end. Heartbreaks. Sobs. Dies. But oh. He really is a perfect villain, and I kind of loved reading about him, because he made this series more interesting and amazing :) But yeah. I wish I could undo that last scene with him.. It is just too cruel and heartbreaking. And perfect.

Think I've said enough about this book now :D I think. I want to talk about the ending. The awful heartbreaking perfect ending. But I won't. Because it is so so so spoilery. But yeah. Biggest wish for book three? That it will all be okay. That the ending of The Eternity Cure will get fixed. That it won't be that bad. I'm going to hope that. But oh. It is just so awful. And it just broke my heart. It made me cry. But it was also perfect, even though it was so heartbreaking. I think book three will be epic. Can't wait.

The Eternity Cure is an amazing book. Perfect characters, the most unique and special plot. The writing is stunning too. Everything in this book was just amazing. And I loved it all. Wish it had never ended, but it did make me so much more excited for book three. I need to know everything. About the cure. About Zeke. And Allie. And just everything. Sobs. I need it right away. Will be re-reading both books when I get my hardcover of this in April. Can't wait to read it again. And you need to read it as well.

I'm so excited to read more about Prince Frederic, Prince Liam, Prince Gustav, and Prince Duncan :D They were all just so amazing. There is no Goodreads description, though :\ But still. This book will be amazing. It is a middle grade book, but the main characters are not middle grade :) I also love this cover. Sigh. I just cannot wait to read The Hero's Guide to Storming the Castle :) What are you waiting for?

Review: Doll Bones by Holly Black

I adore middle grade books. And ghost stories. And I'm a huge fan of pretty covers. So this book just screamed to me that I needed to read it, so I had to request it via NetGalley :) And then read it as soon as I got accepted. I'm glad I did. Because Doll Bones is a great middle grade book. It's pretty amazing. Giving it a four star because I had a few troubles with the writing. But I found the story to be very amazing.

This book is told from the point of view of twelve year old Zach. I loved that. Found him to be an amazing character. Sweet and just all kinds of awesome. I felt sorry for him a lot, though, because something awful happens that I could relate to a whole lot. But yeah. I loved Zach. He's best friends with these two girls, Poppy and Alice. They were awesome.

He spends a lot of time with them playing with their action figures. I loved that. Poppy was a great character, but also a bit weird and kind of selfish in a way. But I kind of adored her, still. Alice I liked better. She has a crush on Zach, and I kind of really loved that. She's also very kind, and I think she has a very though life living with her strict grandmother. The three of them fit together really well. They have an amazing friendship that I loved.

But then something awful happens. Zach's dad throws away all his toys and action figures. And oh. It upset me so much. I would never forgive it if someone did that to my things. It just broke my heart. I might get why his father did it, to make Zach grow up, etc. I didn't approve at all. He did it the wrong way, which he realizes, but too late. They are gone. And sobs. Yeah. That was heartbreaking. And it changes a whole lot. Zach doesn't tell his friends that, he just stops playing with them at all for a while.

Which I also found to be quite heartbreaking. Because they don't know why he's being such a jerk. A bit upset at him for not telling them, but I also understand it. But yeah. It was sad. A few days later something else happens. The doll that Poppy's mom had locked up in a closet is somehow turning up to be a ghost of a dead girl. It's all kinds of creepy. Wish it has been even more creepy, but I loved it all, still :) It all ends with them going on an adventure to a different town to bury the doll, or the ghost.

I won't say more about the plot, because this book isn't that long. And I loved reading about it, so I'm sure you will too. There is a lot of sad things in this book, though. But lots of happy moments too. But there is a lot of arguing between Poppy and Alice and Zach. Which was sad, but I also loved it. Doll Bones is a great book. Full of feelings. A great ghost story and mystery. I loved reading about it, because it was pretty creepy and amazing. I also loved the sailing they did. That was just awesome.

This book isn't that long. And I wanted it to be longer. So much longer. But it is also perfect. I loved the ending, even though I did wish it had been longer, and that something had happened with that bag of toys that went away. Sniffs. This book also made me cry at one time. Which I kind of loved. Doll Bones is an amazing book. I really recommend that you read it if you can. Because it is pretty great :) While I found it to end pretty amazing, I really wish there might up being a sequel to it one day in the future.

Review: Island of Fire by Lisa McMann

Island of Fire is very much worth the wait. You have no idea how happy I was to be able to read it early via Edelweiss. But oh. The wait for book four will be torture. Truly. Because this ends in a big cliffhanger, to be honest. And it is kind of awful. But it also makes me so so excited for the fourth book :) This middle grade series is amazing. Really, truly amazing. I have loved all three books. And the covers. Aren't they just perfect?

I don't know how to write this five star review. Will try my best to not post any spoilers, but there will be spoilers for book one and two, just so you know. Because it isn't possible to talk about this amazing book without mentioning a few amazing things that have happened. And all the awful heartbreaking things as well. First, the writing in this book is very perfect.

Second, the characters are amazing. I loved them all. Then there is the amazing world that Lisa have created. This series is just amazing. I love reading about Artimè and all the magical things and stone creatures. It is all very unique and so good. Island of Fire is an amazing middle grade fantasy book. Although I feel that everyone should read these books, not just children. They are amazing and full of emotions. And lots of great awful things. Island of Fire isn't quite as full of terror and heartbreak as Island of Silence, but it's just as exciting and amazing.

Island of Fire starts where Island of Silence ended. With Mr. Today being dead. Which still breaks my heart, because they are all so upset about it; especially Alex. As if him being dead wasn't bad enough, Lani and Samheed is still missing on that awful island. Simber is gone. Artimè is gone. Everything has gone bad, and Alex is the only one who can fix it. Mr. Today left him a clue, but he's having a hard time figuring it out. He gets a lot of help, though, from the Silent girl and everyone else. And that I loved.

This book is written in third person point of view, which I loved, because we got to see a lot of different people, and we needed to do that. But this book is mostly just from Alex's point of view. He is still so amazing, and I love him the most. He's very kind and brave. Strong. But he is also broken, and that broke me too. He's missing them all so much. Especially Simber. Sniffs. I don't want to spoil anything, but you have seen the cover, so you might imagine what happens about all of that :) So so amazing.

I don't really want to say anything else about the plot. Just a few little things. Alex tries so hard to get magic and Artimè back, and he might succeed. You'll see. We also see more of Aaron, now the High Priest of Quill. I still hate him like crazy. But I kind of feel like that might change in a later book, because I feel like he will be a big part of things to come. Maybe. I hated what he did to the real high priest, and what he did to Mr. Today's daughter. That was beyond cruel of him, but I also loved it a bit.

We also learn a whole lot more about the other six islands. More about the island of silence, which seems like the most awful one, but I have a feeling the others might be just as bad.. I hated reading about the thorn necklaces. They were just so awful and heartbreaking but so well done that I couldn't help but love it. Then there is the Pirate Island. Seemed like such an awful place, and I'm SO EXCITED to read more about it. Please let that be in the fourth book. I need to know more about it right away.

There is a lot of amazing characters in this book. I loved them all. Sigh. Mostly I loved Alex. And Simber. He is just the most perfect thing. Sniffs. And I loved Florence too. And Kitten! Ahh. Then there was Meghan, who I loved a lot more in this book. And Lani and Samheed, I think I loved them. They need each other. They go through so much awful. Sniffs. The Silent girl is named Sky, and I kind of loved her a lot. She's different, and she's always there for Alex. There is so many others that I loved too.

There is a little more romance in this book. Kind of. And I loved it. Also wanted more. But I am a bit confused. Because the romance is between Alex and Sky. And I loved that, because I do think they are amazing together, and she fits with him a lot better. But a bit upset, cause I kind of wanted him with Lani. But not really, because I never loved her, because I found her to be a bit mean to him at times. She made him hurt a lot. So Sky is better for him. I'm hoping it will be more of them in the next one :)

Island of Fire is an amazing book. It has a lot of heart. It made me cry a lot of times. It also has a whole bunch of pain. But happy moments as well. It is a perfect sequel. And I cannot wait for the fourth book. There will be seven, and I'm super excited for all of them :) This book ends with a cliffhanger, though. Which makes me die for the fourth one, which I will now have to wait even longer for. But I can manage it, because while it is evil, it is also kind of a happy ending. At least I thought so :) This book made me very happy. Heartbroken at the sad times, but I loved it all. You really need to read it when it's out :)

I love these covers so so much. Defiance and Deception. While I didn't entirely love the first book, I still liked it so so much, and I cannot wait to read this sequel. The summary sounds amazing. And just sigh. The cover is so pretty. And I did love reading about Logan and Rachel :) I cannot wait to read more about them both! No love triangle, please :) And the plot. It is amazing. Review: Keeper of the Lost Cities: Exile by Shannon Messenger

When I read Keeper of the Lost Cities back in October I had been prepared to wait a whole year for the sequel. Then I heard of ARCs, but didn't think I would get one, and then suddenly this week it showed up on Edelweiss. I requested it right away, and to my surprise and delight I got accepted for it. And I started it right away. Exile is an amazing book. A perfect sequel. But now I must wait more than a year for book three! I'll live, because I can always re-read the first books :)

One of the things that made me want to read book one so much was the amazing cover. It's just so unique and stunning and just simply gorgeous. So glad that the book was just as perfect as the cover :) I just really adore middle grade books, and fantasy books. I also adore the cover for Exile so much. It fits the story really well, and it's just so extremely pretty.

I have a lot of love for this sequel. Will try my best to review it well, with no spoilers, but still sharing a few things about the plot :) I loved the writing in this book so much. It was very easy to read it. It's a bit long, yet not long enough. I never wanted it to end. The characters are amazing. All of them. A bit sad that there isn't romance in this book, but I am hoping a lot for the third book, because I'm pretty sure there will be something between these two characters :) But oh. This book didn't need romance. The story is just so amazing. And the fantasy. I was never bored while reading it.

Exile takes place a little time after Keeper of the Lost Cities. There is so many things happening in this book. So many new people to meet and new things and secrets to discover. Exile also have a whole lot of heartbreak. Which I loved. But yeah. It is pretty sad. But so good. The entire book is from Sophie's point of view again, and I loved that so much. Because Sophie is an amazing person. She's thirteen, and so kind and sweet and cool, to be honest. I loved her. And her stuffed elephant, Ella. And Iggy. So sweet.

I love the life she has. She's an Elf, and she has tons of cool powers. She has a lot of amazing friends. And her family is the best. Well, kind of. She's only been with them for about a year, and she misses her real family in the human world, although they don't remember her. But she lives with Glady and Edaline. They are pretty amazing. Sad a lot, but I didn't blame them. But they are kind and sweet, just broken. I loved them. She also has a goblin body guard, Sandor. He was pretty amazing too. I loved them all.

The plot in this book centers around this Alicorn. And oh. Silveny is amazing. We get to know her so well, and learn so much about her. I loved that plot twist. It was just so magical and amazing. We also get to know the twelve Councillors better.. And yeah. A few are alright, but I didn't like reading about any of them though. They are very into the rules. We also learn more about the place, Exile. And cries. That was awful. But I loved it, because it was awful, and it was done so well, and made a lot of sense.

We learn a lot more about the Black Swan. That was a bit creepy, but also so amazing. There is still so much I want and need to know, though. Cannot wait to read more about it in the third book. One thing I really loved was the graves in this book. They all have a tree after death. It was so sad, but also so amazing. I loved it. Exile reminded me a tiny bit about Harry Potter at times, which I loved, but it is also its own book which I loved even more. Exile was just perfect. Truly amazing. I loved it so much.

I don't really want to say much more about the plot. Just that so much happens. And it is all amazing. Well, most of it is heartbreaking. But it's so unique and special and I loved every moment of this book. There are a lot of secrets and mysteries. There isn't that much Fitz in this book.. but I loved what there was of him. <3 There is a lot of Keefe, though. And I do love him. He is pretty amazing and so special. Do not wish for him to be a love interest in the third book, though. But I still loved him like crazy.

While there isn't any romance in this book, there are a few love interests. Kind of. There is Dex, who is Sophie's best friend. He is a pretty amazing guy. And he has a huge crush on her, which is so obvious. So glad he don't do anything about it, though (A) Don't think Sophie likes him that way. Then there is Keefe. Who is totally amazing. But I don't see him as liking Sophie that way. Don't see her liking him like that either. But oh. He is pretty amazing and sweet, and I love him very much as her amazing friend :)

Then, of course, there is Fitz. He's still my favorite. I love him so. But oh. He isn't much in this book at all, which I'm sad about, but I still loved this book so much. But yeah. Something awful happens, and he's being a jerk towards Sophie. But it isn't without reason, and Sophie didn't blame him. Neither did I. He's just so sweet and kind, at normal times. And oh. He makes Sophie's heart flutter when he smiles at her. They better be together. Hoping so much he will be her first kiss. <3 They are just perfect together.

So yes. I'm hoping for that in the third book so extremely much. There need to be a little romance. Right? I, at least, would love it :) Although I would love it if there isn't, as well. But I'm pretty sure there will be, because why else would we see Sophie's crush on Fitz? Something needs to be done about it ;) Yeah. I cannot wait. The third book will be amazing, and I want to read it right away. Keeper of the Lost Cities: Exile is a perfect book. The most amazing middle grade sequel. Perfect characters. You need it.

You should know that I adore the author, Shannon. She is amazing. So kind and sweet. And omg. She has the best swag ever. And I'm so happy for the contests she have had, since I own a lot of perfect Keeper swag. <3 I love this series so much that I need a print ARC of book one and book two. Want them so, so much. Sigh. They are just so pretty, and these books are just so amazingly good. You need to buy this amazing sequel when it comes out October 1st. It is not a book to be missed. I promise.

I think this was an awesome book-week. SO much amazing :D Lots of eARCs. <3 Perfect. And this amazing package from Macmillan. Best week. Sigh. But oh. Last week I talked about my Abscess. Well. It isn't back, but I have to go to the doctor every day still to change the bandage and such :( I'm not happy, because it's a lot of work going there each day, and it's expensive too. And it kind of hurts. But hopefully finished with all that in a few days, if it ever heals. Anyway. This week I did read a bit :D I read Wither, Fever and Sever. <3 And then today I read Keeper of the Lost Cities: Exile :D So perfect!

Cover Reveal: The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater

I'm so excited for this book. The Raven Boys was AMAZING. And I'm dying for this sequel. A bit sad that the summary isn't here yet.. but I cannot wait, either way. I am, however, sharing the cover :D And oh. The cover is gorgeous. It fits really well with the first one. Well, except for the boy. But I don't mind that very much ;) I cannot wait to read more about this amazing series. The plot. The characters. GANSEY. So, so excited. September 17th yet? I need this book. Cover Reveal: The Bitter Kingdom by Rae Carson

This cover is gorgeous. Don't you agree? The covers for this series is just so unique and different, and I love all of them. I very much loved reading The Girl of Fire and Thorns and The Crown of Embers. They were amazing books, and I'm dying to read The Bitter Kingdom :) Especially with that evil ending to book two! Agh. I also need lots more of Hector. He was just amazing. No summary yet, but hopefully very soon :) The book is coming out on August 27th. And I cannot wait. What do you think of the cover?

Review: Sever by Lauren DeStefano

I finished this book last night. Once I started reading it I just could not stop. Sever is the last book in this amazing trilogy, so be aware of spoilers for book one and two. And oh my god. Sever is an amazing book! A perfect ending to this amazing series. There was one thing that upset me a bit, but I'm still giving this book a five star because I found it to be so so amazing. Sever is truly a great end to this great series.

I still don't know how I felt about this book, to be honest. I'm happy. Heartbroken. Full of pain. But also glad about something that hurt others. Which is kind of weird of me, but oh well :D But what I do know is that I loved this book. Sever was perfect. I had wished for more Gabriel. But yeah. The plot was perfect, and I loved reading about Rhine and Cecily. They are amazing.

Sever starts where Fever ended. With Rhine having just woke up after months of sort of torture by Vaughn. My god. I hate him more for every book. But yeah. That ending of Fever, it was the worst. The things that happened to Rhine. Sobs. But I loved it. She's now in a hospital with Linden and Cecily. She's pregnant again. And I worry for her. Because she's just fourteen. And she's so sweet, to be honest, even though I kind of disliked her in the first books. But she's better in this one. I really loved reading about Cecily in Sever. And Bowen.

There is so much happening in Sever. And yet I wanted more and more and more. But I was happy with it all. Mostly. Rhine isn't yet healed from the cut in her leg, so she's going to be staying with Linden's uncle, Reed. He's another of the first generations, so he's about 70. He is a bit weird. But oh. I kind of really loved him. He's unique, and just amazing. He has a very dusty house, though. Rhine stays there for many days, to get better. And Cecily and Linden and Bowen stays there for a while too. Liked that.

Rhine has tried to tell Linden about Vaughn, and all the awful things he have done and is still doing. But yeah. It's hard to make Linden believe that. But oh my god. Then this most awful thing happens. And Linden is starting to see things a bit more clearly. But oh. So, so heartbreaking. But also kind of perfect, in a weird way. Linden still loves Rhine. Which I kind of hated. But we also get to see the end of their marriage, in a way, and I loved that. Even though I still think that Rhine loves him. Sniffs.

I just loved reading about Cecily. She's grown up more. She isn't quite as stupid in this book, hih. But yeah. She still does some stupid things that I didn't approve of. But for the most time I felt sorry for her, and I just wanted to hug her. I kind of loved her and Linden's relationship, because she really loves him. He loves her in a weird way, though, but it's still love, I suppose. They both have a big part in this book. And I did like that. But I hated that Gabriel wasn't a part of it all. It just wasn't fair. Cries.

Gabriel. My favorite character in this series. And he is barely in this book at all. A few pages. Maybe. And oh. That broke my heart, because I missed him so much, and I wanted and needed more of him. I also wanted a romance between him and Rhine. And there is. Sort of. I just.. I wanted him in this book. I really did. And it broke me that he wasn't. Rhine thinks about him a bit, but not enough, at least not for me. And I still don't know if she really loves him. Sigh. But maybe at the end. Maybe. I don't know.

But even though there isn't Gabriel in this book I still managed to love it. Because I did fell in love with the story as well. The writing. The plot. The characters. And Rhine is amazing. Just, yeah, wish she had thought more about Gabriel.. But then, she is looking for her brother as well. And that was a bit crazy. Because her brother did not seem like a nice person at all. He's killing people. With bombs. And we learn lots about him. Some shocking things about how he's being manipulated as well. Which was a bit awful.

Anyway. The plot in Sever is amazing. We learn lots more about the virus and the way things are over there. I loved reading it all. Just, yeah. I would have loved it even more if Gabriel had been there. Sobs. I wanted more of Gabriel.. But yeah. The book was amazing, still. I loved reading about all the characters. We learn more about Madame as well. I loved that. But sniffs. I didn't learn more about Deirdre :( Sad for Lilac. But oh. I loved reading about them all. Especially Cecily and Rhine. Adore.

Sever is an amazing sequel. A perfect ending to this series. But yes. I wanted more about Gabriel. That felt a bit rushed at the ending, but that is most likely just me and my feelings. I did love the ending of this book. It's heartbreaking. Something awful happens. And I loved it. Hih. Even though this one death was a bit shocking and sudden, it also made sense. I want a fourth book. There doesn't need to be, but I really want one. I do. With lots more of Gabriel. A whole book of just Gabriel :D That would be perfect.

You really need to read Sever if you have read Wither and Fever. It's a perfect book. And oh. I just adore the author, Lauren. She is amazing. So kind. And she writes so well! I cannot wait to read more from her, especially her new series coming out in a year, starting with Perfect Ruin. So, so excited. But yes. I do wish for more about the Chemical Garden as well. Like a short story. Sequel. Or an outtake. I'm feeling greedy, lol. Anyway. I loved Sever. So much. Just wanted more Gabriel :) A great book, though.

Book Recommendation: Fever by Lauren DeStefano

I'm pretty sure I loved Fever even more this time when I read it. Been a year since the first time, and I'm so happy I read it again before starting the final book, Sever. Because Fever is amazing. It's a perfect sequel to Wither, and it's just so good. The writing is perfect. Better too. And the characters is just amazing. Perfect and evil and broken. And oh! The world building. So great. We learned a few more things in this book, and I just loved reading about the virus that kills women at age 20, men at age 25.

Fever starts right where Wither ended. So spoilers ahead. Rhine and Gabriel have escaped the mansion, and is now headed for New York to find Rhine's twin brother, Rowan. She's happy. Because she's finally free, and Gabriel too. And sigh. I just loved that it was just the two of them. They are just adorable together. But oh. Things are not going well. They haven't been free for even a day before they are taken again, by different people. They are taken to a carnival, that is run by this old woman called Madame.

I'm not sure what to call this place. Sort of a prison, I think. Where there are tons of girls being sold as whores. Kind of. I'm still confused, because it seemed like a lot of them liked it there. Maybe. I just thought it seemed awful there, but also not that bad. Except for the fact that Madame was a tiny bit crazy. And cruel. But oh. We got to meet Lilac and Maddie, and they were amazing. I loved Maddie. She's a malformed little girl who doesn't speak. And yeah. I adored her. I did sort of like the carnival.

But then. They are drugging Gabriel. And he's hurting and having nightmares. When he finally awakes from that, he and Rhine is sort of used in this carnival. As the love birds. It was sick. But I also loved it, because, yeah, Rhine and Gabriel really should be together. <3 There isn't much of Linden in this book. Thank god. Difference between Rhine's relationship with them, is that when she kisses Gabriel she wants more. And I'm very, very sure that she loves him. He at least loves her so much. He's so sweet.

There is a lot of things happening in this book. We get to see New York, and I must admit it seemed like an awful place, and I can't really imagine Rhine or Gabriel living there. Seemed so dirty and such. We get to see an orphanage, which I loved, because Claire was amazing. I kind of liked Silas. Was worried about him at first, but he was sweet, to be honest. And I just adored Maddie. We get to see Rhine's home. And sobs. That was a bit heartbreaking. And we do not get to see Rowan in this book.

I'm unsure how I feel about him. Rhine's twin brother. I get that she loves him. And he does seem amazing. But, I also don't get the feeling that he is very kind. I keep picturing him as an asshole, who's not afraid to hurt someone. I might be wrong. I hope I am. But yeah. I'm starting to picture that :p But even so. I am excited to get to know him a bit, and I'm hoping we'll get to see that in book three. At least in will make Rhine happy. Well, it better make her happy. Loved learning more about her parents.

We also get more of Vaughn.. Ugh. I hate him so much. He's done so many awful things. Even more awful in this book. And holy crap. Those last fifty pages.. They were heartbreaking and painful and sobs. They were awful. But so amazing. I loved reading it all. But yeah. Vaughn is a perfect villain. We see more of Cecily. And I'm still unsure about her. She's selfish. But I kind of love her, still. And Linden. I still don't like him much. I really truly don't. Please, no more romance between him and Rhine. Please?

Anyway. There is a lot of things happening in this book. And the title, Fever, plays a huge part in this book, to be honest. I loved reading it all. But oh, this book is heartbreaking. There is also romance, though. Between Rhine and Gabriel. And I loved that so much. I just want them to be together and be happy. Sniffs. Although, there should have been a bit more romance.. But yeah, I loved the little romance that were. Because it is just so obvious that Gabriel loves Rhine. She better love him too.

Fever is an amazing book. You really need to read it if you have read Wither. Now I will be reading Sever, finally. <3 And I cannot wait! I'm hoping it will be perfect, which I think it will be. Just so, so excited, but also worried, because I'm pretty sure there won't be a lot of Gabriel in it. Sigh. Anyway. I loved Fever. It's an amazing sequel. I loved reading more about Rhine and Gabriel and just everyone and everything. But yeah. The things happening before the ending.. They were evil. And so very perfect.
