Waiting on Wednesday #192

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

SIX OF CROWS BY LEIGH BARDUGO

Goodreads Description:

Game of Thrones meets Ocean's Eleven in this brand-new book in the world of the Grisha by New York Times-bestselling author Leigh Bardugo.

Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price—and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can't pull it off alone...

A convict with a thirst for revenge.

A sharpshooter who can't walk away from a wager.

A runaway with a privileged past.

A spy known as the Wraith.

A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.

A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.

Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz's crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction—if they don't kill each other first.

I love Leigh Bardugo. I love her a whole lot. She's so kind and sweet and yeah. All kinds of awesome. Plus, she writes such gorgeous books. Sigh. And this one. Six of Crows. I have been DYING to read it for so long. Seeing people getting ARCs of it.. and me not being one of them.. well. It hurts. It hurts so badly. I want this book so much. Sniffs. I just know that I will love it. It seems so perfect. I simply cannot wait to read it. Begs for an ARC, hih. See my cover reveal post for this gorgeous book here. <3

  13. Aww I hope you get to read an ARC of this one soon, Carina! I'm definitely chomping on the bit for this one as well because like you mention, I love Leigh too. And also, I love that this one is also set within the Grishaverse and I'm glad that we don't have to say goodbye to that world quite yet!

  14. Waiting on Wednesday twinsies! Carina, I'm also very excited to read this one, and I also don't have an ARC, and I also didn't get the email. Don't fret! Remember that 1) the publisher can choose whomever they want, for absolutely no reason, not based on how much of a fan the blogger is, how popular the blogger is, etc., and 2) Maybe this title is being promoted domestically? I don't know and I don't have answers but just know that you are definitely not alone! :)
