Review: The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan

Yeah, I'm pretty much in love with Percy Jackson. And I do not mind one bit. Though I do fear a lot of heartbreak. And I'm a little bit worried about the romance so far. Well, mostly lack of, but there is some tension. But I have hope. Because everything else is perfect. The characters. The story. It's all amazing.

I'm just so glad that I started reading this series, finally. Though it is taking away a lot of my time, as I can't seem to stop reading. But I'm loving it. So much. And next I will read the fifth book. <3 Then start on the new series :D Which I am beyond excited about. Well, okay, very excited and a lot of nervous.

There is just so much happening in The Battle of the Labyrinth. So, so much. First, I still adore Percy. He's still the best. And I love that the books are from his point of view. Sigh. And I still adore Annabeth. Just wishing she would share how she feels, because it's starting to annoy me a little. You know, how she keeps defending the evil Luke. Sigh. Still, I do love her a lot.

There are so many characters in this book. So many to love. And so many to dislike. Grrr. I still love Grover a lot. And we see a little bit more of him in this book. And learn more about his god, Pan. Which was interesting. And Tyson. Sigh. I still pretty much love him, hih. Then there is a newer character, Rachel. I can't like her. Because she likes Percy. And I ship Percy and Annabeth. But. She is also a pretty amazing girl and I loved how she's just a mortal yet she sees so much. Yeah. I did like her. Mostly.

We also see more of Nico in this book. I'm still a bit worried about him. But holy crap. I kind of really, really love him. He's so young. And so adorable. Though he is so so bitter. It breaks my heart. But his gift. As a son of Hades, he is pretty amazing. And I loved his power. I want those. Though Percy's powers for being a son of Poseidon is pretty amazing as well. Sigh. I just really enjoyed everything in these books. There is so much action in this one. And pain. A lot of heartbreak. I really loved this book.

I will not say more of this. Just that there is this really amazing labyrinth. Okay, fine, it is all kinds of creepy. And I really loved reading about it. And I really love Percy's dreams. Which are also creepy. But so interesting. There is just so much to love in these books. And this one was amazing. I will now be starting book number five and I cannot wait. I need more of Percy and his world. I think I would love to be a half-blood. Probably. Seems pretty dangerous, but also all kinds of fun. Think it would be for me. <3

Review: The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan

I think my mind might be too full of Percy Jackson. I haven't been able to stop reading the books since I picked up the first one. And I love it. Though it is messing with my head. I don't mind. And I will be starting the fourth one in the morning; I cannot wait. <3 Because this series is pretty amazing. Love it.

The Titan's Curse broke me a little. I'm not sure how to feel. It made me a lot of heartbroken. And sad. And angry. Yet I also loved it to pieces. So unfair. But anyway. This was an amazing book. And I really enjoyed it. I very much like the writing of Rick. It's awesome. Sigh. I just love these books. So much.

There is so much happening in this book. Lots of awful things. Most of the things I loved, though. I loved seeing more of Percy as I still love him to pieces. And I still adore Annabeth. Though this thing she has for Luke is pissing me off. Makes me wonder if it will get in the way of a Percy and Annabeth relationship. Hmm. I hope not. As I really, really dislike Luke.

Oh, I just don't know what to say. This book was amazing. But it made me wonder what will happen in the next ones. And it makes me think of a lot of heartbreak. So much heartbreak. I fear Nico will cause a lot; this new kid. He did seem adorable. But then something awful happens, and he changes. It broke my heart. Sob. There is a lot of new characters in this book. Like Zoƫ. Whom I actually really liked. She's a bit weird, but I loved reading about her. Not sure how I felt about Bianca. Hmm. Didn't like her much.

Then there was Thalia. And I did not like her much in this book. She annoyed a little. And I'm not sure why. Might just be because of my feelings for Percy, hih. But I did end up liking her at the end of the book. For the most part. And we get to see a bit more of Tyson. He's still pretty cute. And there is a sea cow in this book. That is adorable. Sigh. But then there are these other monsters that are not adorable. Shudders. Loved reading about them all, though. This book just had lots of exciting things that I loved.

I'm not sure what else to say, so I'm not going to say much more. Just that I really enjoyed The Titan's Curse and that I cannot wait to start book four in the morning. It will be even more amazing, I think. Just a little bit upset that the last book isn't out until October. I know I will not be able to wait that long, lol. But I also know that I will love the next books in this series. Sigh. I cannot wait to get started. Anyway. I think you would all love this book and this series. Because it's amazing. Truly amazing. <3

Review: The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan

This was a fast read. Yet so much happened. And not nearly enough. I need to know everything. And I cannot wait to read the rest of the books. Sigh. Percy Jackson has my heart. He's awesome. And this world is amazing as well. Sigh. I just loved everything about this book. Though ending was a bit cruel.

This won't be such a long review either, because I can't talk about all the spoilery things. And I don't know what to say. I just feel like saying that I loved it. I love Percy so much. And Annabeth. And Grover. And the new guy, Tyson. He was pretty amazing. Though some scenes made me so sad. But so good.

The Sea of Monsters continues where The Lightning Thief ended. Sort of. A school year has passed for Percy; where he didn't get kicked out once. Except for that last day. Which I kind of loved. But I do not like bullies. At all. But I do admit to love reading about them in these books, as I think they make it a bit more interesting. And makes me a bit angry and sad, hih.

We get to meet Tyson early on in this book. At first I wasn't sure what to think of him, as he seemed a bit weird and very sensitive. But then the book moved along and we got to know him more and he saved Percy so many times and I just ended up adoring him. I hope we see more of him soon. I liked him. And ah. Annabeth. There isn't any romance in this book, since they are pretty young, probably, but I'm pretty sure it is coming. And I'm so so excited. As I adore Annabeth. She and Percy are adorable together.

We learn more about the gods in this book and I really liked getting to meet Hermes. I think I like that god. Probably. Anyway. There is a lot of characters in this book. Like that huge monster on the cover. Creepy. Yet I loved reading about it so much. And I liked reading about Chiron. I did not like Clarisse. She is pretty awesome, though. But. A bully. And I do not approve of that. Sigh. And Luke. Aghh. I don't think I will ever like him. But I did love reading about him. For the most part. I think. He's evil.

I'm not going to say more about this book. Just that the writing is amazing and I loved all the characters so much. Well, you know. I really adore Percy. Sigh. And I'm so excited to read the next books. And just so happy that I finally started reading them all. Anyway. I think you would all love these books. Because they are amazing. They are exciting and smart and pretty sweet as well. I could not stop reading and I hope I will continue to love the rest of the books as well. Though I don't really have any doubt about it.

Review: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

I've been meaning to start reading this series for a few years now. Ever since I bought this gorgeous paperback set of the five books. But I haven't gotten myself to start. Then I needed to buy the four other books in the series, and now that I own them all, I figured I could finally get started. Then yesterday I did.

And I'm so happy that I finally read it! Because The Lightning Thief was amazing. Percy was amazing. And I cannot wait to start reading the rest of the books. Once I started reading this I could not stop. I needed to know what would happen next. It's very exciting and pretty well written as well. I just loved it.

I don't know what to talk about when it comes to this book. There are a few things I wish to mention. But there is also a lot of spoilery things happening in this book that I don't wish to share, as I want you all to read this book knowing nothing, like I did. <3 Okay, fine, I know the ending of the last book. But I don't know anything about the books before that :D Which is exciting. It's awesome not knowing everything that happens.

Anyway. This book is told from the point of view of Percy Jackson. Whom I really, really loved. He's twelve years old and he's awesome. But oh. It broke my heart to read about his life. He's gone to six different schools. And he keeps getting kicked out. And I hated reading about that bully. Though Percy didn't not stand up for himself, which was good. Then there was his mom. I adored her. She was amazing. But Smelly Gabe! He was goddamn awful. Truly. And I kind of loved what happened to him.

I must admit that I don't really know anything about the greek gods. I still haven't read about them, just in books like this one. But that's okay. I learned more than enough from reading this; and I think they all sound awesome. And I loved that the gods have a big part in these books. Probably. It was interesting. And I can't wait to read more about them. Hopefully. Then there is the Half Bloods. I loved reading about them so much. Annabeth! Adore her already. Sigh. And I liked Grover as well. He was pretty amazing.

There is just so much happening in this book. Yet not enough, which is probably why there are five plus four books in this series :D So excited to read them all. Sigh. I'm not sure what else to say about this book. I loved the writing a lot. And the characters are adorable. Truly. I loved reading about them all. I loved the action. I loved the family thing. Sigh. I just loved everything about this book. And I'm so glad that I finally read it. Now it is time for me to read the next ones and I simply cannot wait to start. <3
