Cover Reveal: The Young Elites by Marie Lu

Sharing the cover for The Young Elites today. <3 And I think it look pretty amazing :D I cannot wait to read this book. I have loved looking at the teasers that Marie shares, and the official art that she has drawn. <3 So excited. I think The Young Elites will be amazing. And I cannot wait to read it. October 7th cannot get here fast enough. I just know that I will love this book. <3 What do you think of the cover?

Adelina Amouteru is a survivor of the blood plague: marked by a jagged scar, snow-white hair and lashes. Cast out by her family, Adelina has finally found a place to belong within the secret society of Young Elites. To some, the Elites are heroes, here to save innocents in desperate situations. But to the Inquisition Axis, the white-robed soldiers of Kenettra, they are monsters with demonic powers who must be brought to justice. As Adelina learns more about this perilous world where politics and magic clash, she soon realizes that her own powers may be in danger of bringing on an era of panic such as the world has never seen.

  1. The plot sounds amazing :) I liked Legend by Marie Lu, but hated Prodigy. But The Young Elites sounds pretty good. I didn't know anything about this book, thanks for sharing! :)

  2. I am so geeking out about this one! Cannot wait!

  3. Awesome! I hope this book shows up at BEA. Whelp. Lol! Thanks for sharing, Carina!

  4. I wasn't really interested in her other YA series, but this one does sound good and the cover is lovely. :)

  5. I can't believe she already has another book coming out. That was so fast! I still have to finish reading the Legend trilogy but I'll totally be checking this one out after. Thanks for sharing Carina =)

  6. I'm very excited about this series! I can't wait for it to come out.

I have to admit, I like the cover, especially the colors, but it's kind of...plain? It almost feels like a placeholder cover. But maybe the finished copy will be all shiny or textured to make up for it.

    1. Oh, yes. I do agree with that. But yeah. I do like plain covers sometimes, hih :D Hoping it will look, like you say, all shiny and awesome. <3

  7. This book sounds great! Although, I'm not totally sold on the cover (but I adore her covers for the Legend trilogy).

  8. WOW, this book sounds soooooooooooooo interesting!!! The cover is a little... insipid? However, it doesn't displease me! :)

I love getting comments. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog :)
