Teaser Tuesday #4

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read

• Open to a random page

• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!

• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Oh, how I wish I was reading a book today. But, well, I'm not. I am waiting for my copy of Across the Universe to get in the mail; and it did not arrive today. But that means it will get here in just a couple of days. So even though I am not reading it right now, my teaser is from Across the Universe by Beth Revis :) What are you reading?

This is the secret of the stars, I tell myself. In the end, we are alone.
No matter how close you seem, no one else can touch you. ~ page 390

Top Ten Tuesday #2

This week's topic is Childhood Favorites.

1. Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan.

2. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling.

3. The Vampire's Assistant by Darren Shan.

4. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling.

5. Tunnels of Blood by Darren Shan.

6. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling.

7. Vampire Mountain by Darren Shan.

8. Trials of Death by Darren Shan.

9. The Vampire Prince by Darren Shan.

10. The Haunted School by R.L. Stine.

Hmm. This topic was a bit hard for me. Since I didn't really read books when I was younger. I am 18 now, and I started reading more when I was 15. But I did read The Darren Shan Saga before that :D There are 12 books, but all could not fit ;p And I read Harry Potter 5, 6 and 7. Didn't read the other ones before a couple of years ago. I don't remember much about The Haunted School, but I do remember reading it a lot when I was in school. The books I have added here I read in Norwegian :)

What did you read?
