The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski

This is the third time I read The Winner's Curse. And it is still one of the best books. I just cannot believe how damn amazing it is. I have so much love for it. As you can see above, there is the new paperback cover for The Winner's Curse. <3 And the hardcover cover for The Winner's Crime and the hardcover cover for The Winner's Curse, which I just read. I cannot wait to own the new paperback as well, as I love all the different covers so so much. These books have the prettiest covers. Gorgeous.

I won't be saying too much about this gorgeous book this time, as I have talked about it twice before, just, sigh. The Winner's Curse is an amazing book. The story is all kinds of amazing. The characters are perfection. And the romance is adorable. This book is heartbreaking. I had forgotten how much it made my heart ache. But I loved it to pieces. I loved all the sad parts. Because they are beautiful. And the writing is so good and I just couldn't help but love all of it. Another plus is no love triangle at all. <3

There is so much I love about this book. I cannot even begin to share all my feelings for it. Kestrel and Arin are some of my favorite characters. They are both so strong. And they have both been through a lot. They just fit together so well. Though there is little romance in this book. But there is some. And it is beautiful. And so sad. Yet I loved every moment of it. Though the ending of this book is still all kinds of mean. But now I have the eARC of book two to read right away, and I just cannot wait to get started.

My reasons for loving this book are many. The writing is stunning. The characters are all kinds of amazing. The story is exciting and nerve wracking and heartbreaking. I loved every moment of this book. And I loved this re-read so much. I will never get tired of reading this book. I simply cannot wait to read the sequel, The Winner's Crime. <3 I know I will love it, but I also worry, because I know some other things about it too. Eeek! I'm all kinds of worried. But also so excited for it at the same time.

I love that this book is told from the point of view of Kestrel and Arin. As they are both amazing to read about. I love how different they are, yet still so alike at things. I love how they bicker. I love how they slowly start to fall in love. And then I love all the other things too. How there are slaves. How the slaves are rebelling. How things are fought. How awful Cheat is and how things end with him. I still love that. How amazing friends Jess and Ronan are; how I wish to read more about them both. So much love.

I don't want to talk more about this book. Because I loved it so. The Winner's Curse is a special book to me. It will forever have a big part of my heart. If any of you haven't read it yet, I'm not sure what you are waiting for. I need you all to read this book. Because it is beautiful. And heartbreaking. And I love it to pieces. I can't wait to read this book again and again because I know I will never tire of it. If you have read this amazing book, I would love to hear your thoughts on it. <3 And if not, go read it right away.
