Cover Reveal: The Body Electric by Beth Revis

I am SO excited about The Body Electric. Really, really excited. First, because it is Beth Revis. Whom I adore. And this book just sounds so damn good. And I adore this cover. So beautiful. I love it :D And omg, the character art. Which I'm sharing below too. That is stunning. I love the look of Jack and Ella. <3 And omg. I just cannot wait to read this book. Even more excited because it will only be one book. Which means there will most likely be a happy ending. Which I hope. Ack. I really hope there will be amazing romance between Ella and Jack as well. <3 Just cannot wait for this book. It is also a self published book. Which is awesome. But that also mean it isn't up for pre-order yet. Ack. Hopefully soon there will be news about that :) Beth has also shared more about the book here. <3 Anyway. I think this cover is stunning. I love the colors. I love the head. I love the creepy bugs. Sigh. I cannot wait to own The Body Electric :D Goodreads says it will be out in October. So I'm crossing my fingers. <3 Also. I adore Beth. She's amazing. So cute and fun and sweet. I did get to meet her once; very shortly. Two years ago at Ascendio in Orlando, Florida. <3 Which was very amazing for me. What do you think of the cover?

The future world is at peace.

Ella Shepherd has dedicated her life to using her unique gift—the ability to enter people’s dreams and memories using technology developed by her mother—to help others relive their happy memories.

But not all is at it seems.

Ella starts seeing impossible things—images of her dead father, warnings of who she cannot trust. Her government recruits her to spy on a rebel group, using her ability to experience—and influence—the memories of traitors. But the leader of the rebels claims they used to be in love—even though Ella’s never met him before in her life. Which can only mean one thing…

Someone’s altered her memory.

Ella’s gift is enough to overthrow a corrupt government or crush a growing rebel group. She is the key to stopping a war she didn’t even know was happening. But if someone else has been inside Ella’s head, she cannot trust her own memories, thoughts, or feelings.

So who can she trust?

  1. What a gorgeous cover! Thanks for sharing! SO glad to hear it's a stand alone book - there have been too many times where I thought a book was a stand alone and it turns out the sequels just haven't been announced yet. Ack. Series are great, but sometimes I need a complete story within one book, ya know? And fingers crossed that this'll have the happy ending we both want. :)

I love the cover, is just fantastic! Since I think Beth is self-publishing this one, I'm not sure how early the preorder will be available if at all!
