Review: Liesl & Po by Lauren Oliver

What made me want this book was the gorgeous cover. Then, of course, because of the author; Lauren Oliver. Even though I have only read Delirium by her, I do love her writing. And I really liked the summary of this book. Then it arrived, and the cover is even more gorgeous in person. It looks perfect. Everything I want in a gorgeous book cover :)

What I didn't expect though, was how short it was. It took me close to no time to finish this book. But I didn't mind. Because what there were, was amazing. I loved every page and every word. What I loved the most though, was the amazing pictures in the book. I sort of pictured Liesl and Will a tiny bit older, but other than that the pictures were spot on :)

The plot in this book is really good. Wasn't sure if I would like it, since the main character is 11 years old. But I have figured out lately that I kind of adore MG books. And Liesl & Po was no exception. This book describes things perfectly. I loved it all. Although so many things were so cruel. But oh. They are written so good and I couldn't help but love it.

The book is from many different POV's, sort of. And I loved that. Really liked that we got to see what everyone thought :) The story in this book is really good. I loved it all. It sort of is about magic, but not really. But even still, I liked it. I liked the magic parts, and the non-magic parts.

Then there is all the amazing characters. First there is Liesl. Who is an 11 year old girl, I believe. She is amazing. She is alone, and has been locked up for a long time. But she is still so lovely. Most of the time :) Then she sees a ghost. And oh. I loved that. And I loved the ghost. Po. And Bundle. Such amazing characters. Loved them both so much. Although Po did annoy me sometimes (A)

Then there is Will. Will is awesome. Although I felt sorry for him so many times. Couldn't help but love him, though :) He is just too cute. Then there were all the other characters. Many I didn't like, but they made the plot so good. Then there were many that I did like. Like Mo and Lefty. Really liked them :)

Liesl & Po is a magical book. So many amazing things happen in it. But also some bad things. But I didn't mind. This book made me happy, but also a bit sad. It is just really amazing.

Don't know what else to say about this book, really. I loved it so much. It was short, and I would have loved for it to be longer, but I also felt like it didn't have to be. Although I would love a sequel; sometime :D Anyway. This book is too good. You really must read it :)

Review: Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl

It only took me three days to read this series. One book each day. And oh. I really loved this series! :D Despite the second book that I didn't like much ;p But the first book is amazing. And this one, is also so amazingly good. Although they are evil, at times. Like with the ending. There will be a few tiny spoilers in this review; but nothing too big, I hope :)

Beautiful Chaos starts where Beautiful Darkness ended. Well, sort of. It jumps ahead a few months. But it is still the same plot :) And it still has all the same characters that I loved. And I have no idea how to write this review since I have already told you all about the things I loved :)

The characters in this book is still the same as they were in the previous books. They have improved some, though. So that is good :) Ethan is still the character I love the most. He is just so amazing. And so kind and sweet. And I just adore him. <3 I also adore his Amma :) Love her. Also still loving Link :) And I loved the Sisters. Although they sort of broke my heart.

I liked Lena a bit more in this book. I think I love her. Was a bit mad at her in the beginning; because of something with Liv. But she got a lot better near the end; so I ended up loving her :D Then there is Liv. Wasn't much of her in this book, really. But I do like her. She is an awesome friend. But I was pissed at her choice of boyfriend :p Really didn't like him. At all, really.

Macon wasn't such a big part of this book, either. But I do still love him a lot :D And there is a lot more characters that I really liked as well. Unsure about Ridley. Need to see some more of her before I decide how I feel about her. Not very impressed so far, though.

Then there is that amazing plot. I still love it so much! And I still don't wish to spoil the story for you :D So, yeah. The story is amazing and so many things are happening. So many amazing things, but they are all mostly just evil and bad. But oh how I loved them all.

And then there is that evil cliffhanger. It didn't really kill me as much as I expected it would; but don't be fooled. It is bad. I'm just having some hope considering there is a new book coming out :D And that book I need. Like really, really need. Cannot wait for Beautiful Redemption :)

If you still haven't read this series you really should :) And if you have read the first two books; you really need to read this sequel. It is amazing :)

Review: Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl

I have too many conflicted feelings for this book. I just finished book 1 yesterday; and then read this one today. I thought it would be just as amazing as the first one; so I was so disappointed when it wasn't. The story is awesome, the other isn't. So beware. This review will contain spoilers to book 1 and spoilers of this book. Can't write this review without it.

Also; this review won't be very long because I do not feel like saying any positive things about it. I have some words, but it won't be many. My review will be a lot of negative, because that is how this book was to me. Just hurtful with thousands of things I hated. I was unsure about how to rate it, but I am rating it with how I felt about it. Which is a 3 star. The story is a 5 star, but that don't matter to me at the moment.

I'll start with the positive. The story. The story in this book is just as amazing as it was in the first book. Still as unique and never stopping. So many things happen; and I liked the plot twists. So, yeah, I liked the story. But that was it. Although I did love Ethan. He is still an amazing person. And I hurt for him a whole lot. Also liked Link and Amma.

I'm not sure how to start with all the hating on this book. I'm sure many people didn't have any trouble with it. But I did. It's just something I do not like and will never like or approve of. So here starts all the spoilers. BEWARE! lol. This book starts where book one ended. With Macon dead. And Lena grieving. If you can call it that. We get to see a few moments in the four months that jumps ahead.

Didn't really like all the time jumping, because it just brought Ethan and Lena farther and farther apart. And I didn't get it. Why did that need to be apart of this story? Why do all authors seem to do it? I don't see any positive thing with seperating the couple and then making some stupid triangles that did not make sense. And they only hurt. Which is why I'm hating so much.

Lena is feeling quilty. And I sort of get that. But the thing is, Macon died so that Ethan could live. So why isn't she happy that he is alive? Why isn't she enjoying the time spent with him? She is being cruel and I hated her so much for it. I could understand some of it, but not much. I'm not the forgiving type.

When Ethan and Lena split it isn't good. First of all, they never really break up. They just are. And that didn't really make much sense, either. Lena is a bitch. I'm sorry, but that's just how I feel about it :\ And then, of course, she was with another guy. Which she obviously was close with and felt things for. We never got to see them kiss, but they seemed to be intimate. I can't stand it.

I hated Lena in this book. Hated her so damn much. And I don't care if she was going through some rough times. You do NOT treat Ethan like that. The sweetest boyfriend. And she treated him like garbage. Ethan also tried to move on, after that. Sort of. He had some feelings for a new girl; but they never kissed or anything. And the thing is, I liked her. Didn't want a triangle, but she is a great character.

Something I also hated. Ethan just forgave Lena for it in the end. Just like that. And I really, really hated it. I didn't think he would actually just let it go that easily. I never would. So, yeah, I didn't like this book much. But even so. I still read it. And I did love the story and the writing. Meaning I am excited about the next book. But I also think I will hate much of it :(

Anyway, if you have read the first book in this series you really should read the next one. I think.

Review: Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl

I have had this series for some months now; and I have wanted to read it for a long time. Just haven't before now; because it seemed like it would take me forever :) But then I started this first book today. And it took me about 12 hours to finish it. And oh. So glad I started reading it. I loved this book.

I loved the plot, and I loved the characters. And most important, to me, I loved the writing. It isn't always I do that; and when I don't I usually can't finish the book at all. But with Beautiful Creatures I loved it all. There wasn't a single point in this book where I didn't like the writing. Which was good :)

Was a bit nervous before starting this book. Had this fear that it would be heartbreaking/bad. But it wasn't. Well, it sort of was. There is much evil in this book. Lots of bad people. And there were a few scenes that broke my heart. But mostly, this is a sort of happy book. It is a love story. With an amazing plot. And yeah, I really liked that :)

I'm not really sure what I can really say about this book. The plot is really unique, and I do not want to give it away. Just know that it is awesome, and I really liked it :) It's really.. surprising, most of the time. It has a lot of twists and turns, and I loved them all. For the most part :D

There is a lot of great characters in this book. First, there is the main character; Ethan. And oh, I really liked Ethan. He is an amazing main character :) And I loved that this book was from his POV. He is a 16 year old boy, and he is one of the jocks in the beginning. But then Lena shows up. And everything changes for him. Some would call it bad changes, I think, but I loved them all ;)

Ethan is an extremely kind boy. And so sweet. He is living a really hard life. He just lost his mother less than a year ago, and his father has checked himself out. For the most part. But he has Amma. His almost-grandmother. And oh! I loved Amma. Mostly :D She is awesome. Loved that she was such a big part of this book :)

Ethan also has one other friend; Link. And, yeah, I really liked Link as well :) He's a bit weird; but then, who isn't? ;) And then there is Lena. I really liked how she ended up in this story. She is amazing, I think. A bit young, but then, I didn't really mind. She is very different from the rest of the school kids in this town. And I liked her that way.

Don't want to give too much about her away, just that I loved her :) And oh god. I hated the things the evil kids in this town did to her. It was cruel. So much of it. But then, I also loved that it was there. Lena doesn't really have a big family. But what she does have is awesome :) At least, I think so. Her 'parent', Macon, may not seem like the best man at times. But I really liked him a lot :)

Don't have much else to say about this book. The plot is really good. And the characters are awesome. And the romance is sweet. And I'm really excited (and nervous) about the next books :)
If you haven't read this book yet, you really should do so. <3

Review: The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa

I am not ready to write this review. I am not. But I'm still going to :) I woke up this morning to an email from NetGalley telling me I had gotten accepted to read The Immortal Rules. And I was beyond happy! Knew I needed to read it right away. And I did. Started it at 8am, finished before 6pm. About 10 hours on 500 pages. Although I did have some breaks :)

And I'll start by saying that this book is amazing. Not that I expected it not to be. I love The Iron Fey books by Julie; although I still haven't read The Iron Knight (A) I'm a coward. But I will! Most definitely. I love Julie's way of writing, and her way of story telling. And this book sucked me in right away. And it didn't really want to let go, either. Was sad when it ended. But also happy; in a way.

Considering how much I loved this book. I'm having trouble finding words to describe how much I loved this book. How much it made me feel. It is heartbreaking at times, and it is so brutal often. But it also made me happy at times. It made me feel so much, and I can't wait to see what the next book will do to me :)

The plot in this book is beyond amazing. I loved her books about the Fey. While this book is about Vampires, it is just as good; if not better. Everything seems so real. It is set 60+ years in the future, and I love how the world is. How many dangerous creatures there are. It is cruel and such, but still so amazing. I really loved the way Julie created her vampires.

They reminds me about the vampires I've already read about before; in other books. But these are also different. First, vampires in this book kill. And they kill bloody. And I loved every minute of it! So happy it wasn't "played-down." I'm glad we got to see it all; even with how horrible it is.

But even though the vampires are killers in this book, they aren't all bad. Sure, they can be bad and become bad, but they don't have to be. They all have a choice. But not about the drinking; there is no choice there :) Which made me even more happy. Anyway; don't want to say too much. Just know that the vampires in this book is amazing :) Even though they aren't all good.

The characters in this book is really great. The main character, Allison or Allie, I really really loved. She is just amazing. Kind, strong, and smart. I loved everything about her. Well, except for her choice of friends in the beginning of the book. Didn't like those much. But I was still sad about what happened to them all. I think :D

Then she gets turned into a vampire. Don't want to spoil how she gets turned; because I kind of really liked that part ;) At first I feared that the guy who turned her, Kanin, would be a love interest. But he isn't :D And yeah. I'm really happy about that :) I liked him a lot, I think. He made some bad choices before, but I think he's made up for them. For the most part.

Then there is all the other characters. Like Zeke. Or Ezekiel. Who I loved so extremely much. He is the best character in this book. So extremely kind and sweet. But also strong. But yet still so broken. And my heart breaks for him so many times in this book. Especially in this one scene with Jeb that I will not spoil. Just know it is horrible, but I'm still glad it was there.. I love broken boys.

And it is not possible to not love Zeke. He is just too good not to love. The best love interest. <3 There is also so many other characters I really liked. Like little Caleb. And many characters I hated. Like Stick. Which I hope we'll get to see more of in book two ;) *Snickers.* And I hated Ruth. Didn't like her at all. Really happy about something that happend with her later on ;) Even though it is evil of me.

This book is just so damn good. Even though there is a lot of deaths in it. Brutal and violent ones. Some I loved, some I hated. But I'm still so glad they were all there; if that makes sense at all :p I also really loved the romance in this book. Wished it had been more; like I always do (A) But I did love what there was of romance :)

Just beware. The ending in this book is a little bad. But it ain't all that bad; and it made me want a sequel that much more. So there better be one soon! <3 I have no patience, you know. Hih :) Anyway, the plot in this book is amazing. As is the characters and the writing. I just loved everything about it.

So you really NEED to read this book when it comes out. You must. Because it is so good. And you will not regret it one bit. Promise. <3 Also; have you seen that gorgeous cover? ;)

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin for the chance to read this book early. <3

Review: The Unwanteds by Lisa McMann

This is an amazing book. I wanted it because of the amazing cover; it is just so so gorgeous :) Don't like the blurb though; really don't like it when they compare books to other books :p But still. The cover is amazing :) And the summary is great too. The book is a lot better than I first thought it would be :D

The Unwanteds is an amazing book. It has an really, really good story. And it has amazing characters. And I loved the writing :) Mostly third person pov, I think. And I really liked that. But even though it is third person pov, it is still mostly from Alex's POV. And I adored Alex! :D Wish he was a bit older; but, yeah, I still loved him :)

Alex is an amazing character. He is a young boy, and at times act like it. But I did like that. He is kind, most of the times. And he is just an amazing person. He has a twin brother; Aaron, who I did not like. Alex has a lot of friends at Artime. But oh. This book broke my heart early on. See, he has a good relationship with his friends at first.

But then they all get picked for something; except for him. And they keep bothering him about it. Showing off, etc. And oh. It killed me! They should have understood how much it hurt him, because it did :\ It left him feeling unwanted and a lot of other things. And it left him alone and without friends. I can blame it on them being young, but 13 ain't that young.

Then there is Lani who is just 12. She was the worst; but she changes a lot in this book. Which makes me think she and Alex will be a couple soon ;) Hopefully in book two :D They would be really good together. I think. There is many other characters in this book that I liked. And many that I didn't like.

Anyway, the plot in this book is really, really good. I do not wish to spoil it for you; because it is great and it is greater if you don't know anything about it :D So yeah. Just read it and find out ;)

This turned out to be a short review. Because I'm not able to figure out what to say about this book. I just know that I loved it, and that the plot is amazing and the characters are great. The world building in this book is also amazing; and I hope we'll know more about it in the sequel :) I cannot wait for the next book. Need it now. <3 Think it will be amazing :D

Review: Above by Leah Bobet

I've wanted to read this book ever since I saw the cover some months back. And because of the amazing summary :) What the summary didn't tell me though, is how heartbreaking this book is. How much it hurts reading it. That there isn't any romance at all. And it did not tell me how amazing this book is. Because it is. It is really, really good. But you should know; there will be a few spoilers in my review :)

Above starts out really awesome. I love the main character; Matthew. Loved that this story was told from his POV :) It was a bit hard for me to get used to the writing; but I'm guessing it's just the way he thinks and talks from living below for his entire life. And I didn't mind it so much :) Matthew is an awesome person. He is a Teller. And I really liked him :)

Anyway, this book starts really good. But it also has a lot of deaths in the beginning. And they were brutal. But I also loved them; which doesn't make much sense. Just thought it was well written. There is a lot going on plot wise, and I do not really want to spoil it for you. So this review will be a bit short; since I can't talk much about the amazing plot ;)

But I can say that it is awesome. I love these kinds of books. Where people are all sorts of screwed up; but not in the normal way. And I just loved every minute of it. The plot in this book is amazing. There is interesting things happening at all times, and there is so much to be learned.

I really loved Matthew; like I said. But I loved a lot of characters in this book. Like old Whisper. And old Jack. They were amazing characters; and I liked that they were there :) Liked a few other characters; but not as much. There were however also many characters that I did not like at all ;p

Then there is Ariel. Or Ari. Whose real name we never learned :\ She is an amazing character. I loved what she could do, but she is the most broken of them all. And I sort of hated her for it. I thought this book would have lots of romance; because it seemed like it would have that. But it doesn't. Matthew loves Ari. He really does. Like love, love her. And I understand why he does. But she doesn't seem to.

I was confused a whole lot about the romance thing in this book. They had lived together below for about 8 months, and she was still flinching whenever he tried to touch her. And they never kissed. Which I really hated. Would have loved it if it was only one kiss.. but there wasn't. I get that she was Sick and all, but I really hated it. Wish it had been different.

But I did really like her; mostly :) And I liked her story. Just, yeah, I wanted more romance. And I wanted her to care for Matthew like he cared for her. With the ending of this book; I was disappointed. But, it does lead up to a second book. And I really hope there will be another one :)

There is a lot of deaths in this book. And they all seem real, and they are all brutal. But I still sort of loved it. And Matthew is awesome. As is many other things. So if you have not read this book, you really need to :) Because it is really good.

Waiting on Wednesday #23

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

CITY OF LOST SOULS BY CASSANDRA CLARE

Goodreads Description:

The demon Lilith has been destroyed and Jace has been freed from her captivity. But when the Shadowhunters arrive to rescue him, they find only blood and broken glass. Not only is the boy Clary loves missing–but so is the boy she hates, Sebastian, the son of her father Valentine: a son determined to succeed where their father failed, and bring the Shadowhunters to their knees.

No magic the Clave can summon can locate either boy, but Jace cannot stay away—not from Clary. When they meet again Clary discovers the horror Lilith’s dying magic has wrought—Jace is no longer the boy she loved. He and Sebastian are now bound to each other, and Jace has become what he most feared: a true servant of Valentine’s evil. The Clave is determined to destroy Sebastian, but there is no way to harm one boy without destroying the other. Will the Shadowhunters hesitate to kill one of their own?

Only a small band of Clary and Jace’s friends and family believe that Jace can still be saved — and that the fate of the Shadowhunters’ future may hinge on that salvation. They must defy the Clave and strike out on their own. Alec, Magnus, Simon and Isabelle must work together to save Jace: bargaining with the sinister Faerie Queen, contemplating deals with demons, and turning at last to the Iron Sisters, the reclusive and merciless weapons makers for the Shadowhunters, who tell them that no weapon on this earth can sever the bond between Sebastian and Jace. Their only chance of cutting Jace free is to challenge Heaven and Hell — a risk that could claim any, or all, of their lives.

And they must do it without Clary. For Clary has gone into the heart of darkness, to play a dangerous game utterly alone. The price of losing the game is not just her own life, but Jace’s soul. She’s willing to do anything for Jace, but can she even still trust him? Or is he truly lost? What price is too high to pay, even for love?

Darkness threatens to claim the Shadowhunters in the harrowing fifth book of the Mortal Instruments series.

Review: Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore

I'm having trouble finding words for this. I loved Graceling and Fire so extremely much, favorite books, I think. Except for Divergent. Maybe :) What I love about these books are the amazing writing, and the amazing place the story takes place. And, of course, the amazing characters. So I just knew that I would love Bitterblue. And I needed it. Right away. I have no patience, so May was too far away for me. Then I was lucky enough to get a goodreads friend to send me her copy :D And omg. I'm so, so thankful to Cynthia. Thank you :)

I must say a little warning. There will be spoilers for the first books, and there will be a few small spoilers from Bitterblue about the characters; but not plot wise :)

Bitterblue isn't as good as Graceling was I think, but it is very close. It is exremely special and unique. But I would have loved it more if it had been from Katsa or Po's POV :) Since, well, they are still my favorite characters, and I just need more of them :p <3 But I did love this book. So much. And I did love that it was from Bitterblue's POV. Because she is amazing. Most of the time :)

There is a lot of things happening in this book. And I wasn't able to put it down at any time. Exciting things are going on at all times, but Bitterblue isn't a part of any of it. Except for a few things. So I did get a bit bored with her. But I still did love it :) With so much happening it is easy to get confused about things. But I don't think I was, at all. I just love this world too much.

I don't want to give away the plot, because there is a lot of lies and betrayals in this book. And I think it would be better if you figure those out yourself ;) But you should know that this book is brutal. It has a few happy things happening, but mostly it's all sad and bad. We get to see how much everyone is hurting over what Leck did. And omg. It kills me. It is bad bad bad.

What's even more bad though, is that I sort of want to read all those 35 journals. Even though they will not be pleasant. Too much torture. But yeah, I do think it would be interesting to read it all :) Leck is a horrible, horrible person. And I do wish we could know why he was that way. Although I don't think there really is a reason. It's probably just something wrong in his brain, or something. But he makes an excellent bad guy, and I love that :)

There is extremely many new characters in this book. Too many to name. Some I really loved, others I really hated. Most I felt sorry for. First there is Bitterblue. Who was ten years old in Graceling, and is now 18. She is a kind and sweet person. Very naive, I think. But I still did love her, because I didn't blame her for it. She makes some bad choices that I do blame her for, though, and I'm not happy about it.

But still, Bitterblue is an amazing main character. And I did love reading about her story. Then there is Po. He is in this book much more than I had hoped, but also less than I had wished and wanted for. I wanted so much more of Po and Katsa. And I was left feeling a bit disappointed in them both. Well, mostly Katsa (A) She is still very.. impulsive. Leaving when she gets mad, etc. Also getting mad for not a good reason..

But then there is Po. And omg. I love Po so much. And I love him just as much in this book, as in Graceling. Although I would have loved it more if it was from his or Katsa's POV :) But he is a big part of this book. He is there for Bitterblue, when she needs him. Well, most of the time ;p And he still feels so broken, and I hate it :( Not gonna say much about it, but I was sad about some things going on with Po and Katsa. But, I did like how it ended :) Mostly. Wished for more. And wish the next book is about them :)

Then there is the love interest to Bitterblue. Thing is, I really loved Saf. A lot. And I was even more depressed that the romance was such a small part of this book. That there went so much time without them seeing each other, and that they weren't really together. I liked the time they spent alone near the end of the book, it was sweet. <3 But then it disappointed me a whole damn lot. I did not like how the romance ended. And how there wasn't really any. And gah! I just wished it had a happy ending :) Although some might think it were. But I don't. Not at all. And I'm not happy about it :p

But still, he was an amazing character and I loved him. And I loved his friends :) They were also amazing characters; and I loved that they were apart of this story :) I also loved another character named Death. And his cat; Lovejoy. Loved them :) There were also other characters I liked. But, yeah, it would take forever to name them all ;) You'll see when you read this book :)

There is also more characters from this book that were also in the previous books. And I really liked that twist :) But also think it ended way too soon. So disappointed in that. But still happy that it was there at all :) Then there was Raffin and Bann from the first book. And oh. I loved them so much! So cute. <3 And great characters :) Also liked Giddon in this book. He's not so bad ;)

Feel like it would take me forever to say what I loved about this book. And I think I'm done spoiling it for now :D lol. So I'm just going to say that I loved this book. It is an AMAZING story, with the best plot. And the best characters. And I loved it all. Except for the ending; wish it had been longer. Felt like it all ended too soon. But then, what I want more than anything, is another sequel :) Hopefully another Katsa book. Or Po. I wish. <3

I'm extremely excited for the hardcover to come out in May; because there will be maps! Lots and lots of maps. <3 So excited for that :) And because then I can re-read the final version :D

If you have read Graceling and Fire you really, really need to read Bitterblue when it comes out. Because it is simply amazing. And an awesome sequel. And if you still haven't read Graceling; then I do not know what is wrong with you. These books are a MUST read. For everyone. No matter what. <3

Review: The Nightmare Garden by Caitlin Kittredge

After I finished The Iron Thorn I knew I needed to read the sequel right away. And I did. Meaning I read over 600 pages yesterday; so my head ain't feeling too good :p But anyway. I didn't love this book as much as I loved The Iron Thorn, but I still loved it a whole lot :D It is a really, really good sequel.

The Nightmare Garden has a lot of action going on. So much happens in it. But it is all exciting to read about :) Not all good things, though. Mostly just bad things happen. But it is all so good to read about, so I didn't mind that much :D At least not in the beginning. I minded a whole lot at the end.

The plot in this book is just as good as the plot in book 1. I liked it all. Don't want to spoil it; so if you have not read book one you really should not read the summary for The Nightmare Garden :) It spoils a whole lot. I didn't read it before I read the book though; so I didn't mind :)

There is a lot of bad guys in this book. And they are really bad. But I liked that they were there; it made the story much more interesting :) Although something didn't need to be, to be honest. There is some new characters in this book; and I did like some of them :) Although we didn't get to see too much of them.

Most though, there are the same characters from book one :) And I liked that. Although I still felt like this book didn't focus much on the people. Like, we barely saw something about Cal at all. And even though I didn't like him that much; I wish there had been more of him :) I was a tiny bit disappointed in Aoife in this book. Not much, just a tiny bit.

She was alot more grumpy in this book, especially towards Dean and I didn't like that. But she wasn't that bad; so I can forgive her for it :) I think. But then she also did something really stupid near the end of the book that I did not approve of. But it did fit with the story; so I dealed with it ;)

She was still a great character though. I really did like that the book was from her POV :) I really loved Dean in this book. He just gets better and better. He is the best character. <3 And I love him so much. What I was a bit disappointed in though, was how little romance there was in this book :( There was more in the first book. Even though they are together in this book; there was little romance.

And then that beyond horrible thing happened at the end. And I'm just really pissed about it. You really should now that the book ends really bad. Really, really bad. And oh so sad :'( But. There is a tiny hope at the end. And I'm extremely happy about that. But how in the world I will survive waiting a year for the next book, I do not know. I need it! <3

Anyway,. this book is awesome. Really good. So if you have read the first book, you must read this! :D It is so good. And if you still haven't read book one, what are you waiting for? This series is amazing.

Review: The Iron Thorn by Caitlin Kittredge

Why I haven't read this book before now, I do not know. But I do remember being scared of reading it, because I tried to read it on my iPad many, many months ago. Meaning I peeked at many things in it, and I thought there was a love triangle in it. But there isn't. At all. And it is so damn good. I'm glad I read it :) And I'm glad I'm about to start the sequel right away, as well ;p

This book is amazing. There is no other word to describe it. The world it is set in is so good, 1955, I think it is. And I loved how destroyed the world is. But it is still working quite fine, and I just loved it all. I loved how things worked there, although I hated the Proctors. But they did made sense. Even though I didn't like some things, I loved it more.

I don't want to say too much about the world, because it was awesome to read about. There is a lot of twists and turns in this book, and I loved them all. There is just so much happening, and it is really exciting. Don't want to ruin a big part of this story, so I won't say it, just know that it is awesome :D And it made the story even more special.

The characters in this book are amazing. I really loved Aoife. She is kind, and sweet, but still strong. And she is also kind of broken. Which I liked. She is just really awesome :) A great main character. She is a bit young; a month from 16. But I liked it. Guessing with what she has been through, and with how the world is, she has grown up a lot faster.

Aoife only has one true friend; Cal. And I didn't really like him much. I'm extremely happy that there wasn't any sort of romance between them, thank god :) Good thing about Cal, he turned out to be a lot more by the end of this book ;) And I liked that turn of the plot. Was really interesting :)

The character I liked the most though, was Dean ;) See, I always love the boy the most. And there isn't any way I wouldn't have loved Dean. He is simply amazing. Kind, strong, a bit weird, but perfect. I loved the nicknames he had for Aoife :) They were adorable. Also sort of liked that he smokes. Maybe. I really loved the romance in this book. It was perfect, I think. No drama :)

There is a lot of characters in this book, and I liked most of them. Although some I really did not like, but I loved that they were there :) Don't want to say more about this book, because I do not want to spoil it. Just trust me; this book is amazing and a must read :) So excited for the second book! :D

Review: Harbinger by Sara Wilson Etienne

I'm unsure about how I feel about this book. The first 150 pages or so it was a clear 5 star book. It was just so good. Then the main character got unlikable, and I got confused a lot. But I still loved it. Mostly :D And the ending is good, although there better be a sequel; because a lot of things went by unexplained.

I first wanted this book because of the pretty cover, then I read the summary. And I wanted it even more. Then yesterday I was bored, and I wanted to try this book. And I loved it right away. It's like an asylum/prison, and it is creepy and evil and I loved it. Most suprising, though, is that I liked the writing as well :) Found it to be really good.

The plot in this book is really exciting; I liked it the most in the beginning. It was a bit too much near the end, I think. But it is still really good. I don't want to say too much about it, because I liked the mystery of the plot. So I'll just say that it's good, and interesting :)

The characters I mostly liked. I really liked Faye at first. She was an awesome broken character. And I adored her. I adored Kel even more. He was a great love interest; and I loved him a lot. Liked the romance in this book, but hated what happened in the last half of the book. Faye sort of fucked up.

And I lost a lot of interest. Because many things didn't make sense. And I hated how Faye distrusted Kel so easily. It just happened too fast, I think. The first she likes him, which happened perfectly, but then she suddenly hated him and wanted to kill him. With not really any real proof that he had done anything. So. Yeah. I didn't liked that.

But still, I really enjoyed this book. There is a lot more characters in this book, and I liked them all. They were all interesting to read about, some good, some bad. What I really loved though was how horrible it was at Holbrook Academy. I just love those things. Although it was bad. And scary.

One of the reasons why I want a sequel is because I want more romance. But also because I want to know what happens next. Considering it ended without us knowing anything about what would happen. And I want to know more about the world; because it is a dystopia or post-apocalyptic world. And it sounded really interesting to learn about. Want more of that.

Anyway, this is a great book, and you really should read it :)

Review: Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion

I loved this book. I mean, I really, really loved it. It is just so amazing. The writing is so good, and the characters are great, and the plot is amazing. Everything about Warm Bodies is good. It is an YA book, right? Because the characters are teenagers. And it felt like a YA book. So that is good as well :)

The last four books, I think, that I have read have been books I have liked, but not loved. They weren't really anything special. And I wanted to read something amazing. With a good romance. Then I remembered that I had Warm Bodies, and had not read it yet. So I picked it up. And first, that cover is just stunning. I, at least, loves it :) I payed a lot of money for the book, but it was so worth it.

The main character in this book, "R", is a zombie. He starts out as an almost regular zombie. But he is a bit different from the others. I can talk in short sentences; and he cares about things. Like killing. He isn't that comfortable with it, but he still does it; otherwise he would die.

Then he and a group of other zombies goes out hunting for food. For the Living. Which they find, and R kills someone else. But it isn't just a regular person whose brain he's eating. It's the Perry, the boyfriend of Julie. And R is getting his memories. Which hasn't happened before while eating brain. Hih.

Because of that, R notices Julie there. And he doesn't want to kill her, and he doesn't want anyone else to kill her either. Thus starting their journey together. Which I will not talk about; considering this is a short book, and I would rather you read it for yourself :D Because it is awesome.

R is an amazing character. I loved that this story is from his POV. He changes a lot through this book, especially at the end. Which I loved so much. Anyway, R is an kind and sweet person. Well, he tries his best to be so. And I just adored him. Even though he was a zombie. A cute one, though :D

R has a best friend; M. And M is a great character as well. A bit dumb, but then, he is a zombie ;) And I liked him that way, anyway. He is a great friend for R to have. And he changes too. Sort of. They have a lot of zombies at the airport where they live, and I liked a few of them. Like the kids. But some I didn't like. Like the Boneys. Didn't like those much. But they were a great plot :D

I also really liked Julie. She curses a lot, but I didn't mind :) She is really kind and caring, and she has had a hard life. But she's still alive, so that's something ;p She also has a best friend; Nora. I liked her too. For the most part :) One I didn't like though, was Perry. He seemed like a douche. But he wasn't always that, so I can't really hate him that much ;p

Anyway, this book has stunning writing, and amazing characters. It has an incredible plot, and I really liked that. Although I felt like the book was too short. Wish there was more :) But, there is romance in this book. Not very much, but I loved it. And I also loved the end of this book. It is final, but there could easily be a sequel. Which I hope for very much :)

You really need to read this book if you haven't yet. It will be worth it ;)

Yet to do so she will have to venture deep into the heart of enemy territory.

The only way Jacinda can reach Miram is by posing as a prisoner herself, though once she assumes that disguise, things quickly spiral out of her control. As she learns more about her captors, she realizes that even if Will and Cassian can carry out their part of the plan, there's no guarantee they'll all make it out alive. Review: Sweet Venom by Tera Lynn Childs

I have wanted to read this book for quite some time now, and I really wanted to love it. But I didn't. And I'm really sad about that fact. I wanted this book because of the pretty cover, and the interesting summary. Then yesterday I started reading it, and I couldn't get into it at all. Considered just giving up, but I didn't. Wanted to see if it could turn out amazing. Well, it didn't.

It took me a long time to read this book, because I got bored a lot. And there wasn't really anything that made me want to continue reading. Although, the plot is really great. So I liked that. And I probably would have loved this book if everything else had been just as good. But no.

The plot is really great though, I liked that they hunt bad demons, I suppose they are. Reminded me of demons from The Mortal Instruments. But this book reminded me a lot of Sisters Red, and that made me sad. Because Sweet Venom wasn't close to being that good :\ The plot had potential, but that was all.

I could have liked that there were three different POVs in this book if the characters had actually been good. But they weren't. I didn't like a single person in this book. And that says something; considering how many characters there were. First, there is Grace. She could have been a great character, she is sweet and all. But she is too dumb, and I didn't like her at all.

And I didn't like Gretchen either. She is the character I wanted to like the most. But she made it impossible. At she isn't even a bad person at all. I just didn't connect with her at all. And then there is Greer. Who doesn't show up until near the end. And she is such a bad character that it made me almost like the others. Almost. Felt like she was "made" wrong. If that makes sense. It should have been written better.

That is the biggest issue for me. The writing. I mean, there isn't any mistakes or such in the writing, I just did not like it. AT ALL. Found it to be sort of stupid. Didn't think anything sounded belivable when it was written that way. Like they all talked to themself aloud. I never do that. And I have never seen or heard anyone else who does. And now all three of them do? I didn't like it.

Plus there was so many other things they thought/did that didn't make sense at all. And I wasn't able to connect to anything in this book. Not the three girls, and not really the story either. Especially not the "love interests." There were three of them. And I didn't fall for anyone. Because of how it was written :\ And yeah. That sucked. Really wanted a good romance :)

Anyway, this was still an interesting book. And even though I didn't like it much, I'm still probably going to read the sequel. Because book one leaves too much unsolved. There is so much that did not happen. So, yeah, checking out the sequel when it's out :)

Review: Outside In by Maria V. Snyder

I didn't like this as much as the first book. It isn't bad, it just is not as good as book one :) The plot is still great, but I'm not liking the characters so much, and their actions didn't mean anything to me. And I had a lot of issues reading this book :\ Especially since it reminds me so much of Across the Universe, but without that amazing writing. But it is still unique, and I liked that.

Outside In continues where Inside Out finished. It still has a great plot, and I still liked how the people lived. Although they did complain a lot. But I can understand that. Mostly ;) What I didn't like, however, was how much Trella changed from book one to book two.

She is extremely selfish in this book. And she seems a lot like a child at all times. She is certainly acting like one a lot. And I really did not like that. Also don't understand why, she wasn't like that in the first book. At least not as bad.

I still really liked Riley, he is a great person. And I wish I could say I loved the romance, but I didn't :( I wanted to. So much. There isn't anyone else I would rather they be with, but I wish the author had written in better. It just did not seem real, and it didn't make me love it. Although I did like the ending. Very much. But I wish it was better, still.

One of my bigger issues with this book though, was how predictable it was. But still, I was unsure about who the bad guys were :D But then. I hated how they all "forgave" the bad people. I get that they wanted to do the right thing and whatever, but it did not make sense. I never would have done it. Which is why I can't see how Trella could just forgive her mother and forgive Sloan. I didn't like them.

Also, like the first book, this book too described too much. It bored me some. I liked it, sometimes, but it was a bit too much. Anyway, this book is good. And it still has a great plot, with a few interesting characters. So if you have read the first book, you should read this one to see what happens :)
